In Hydra, the cells divide rapidly at a speci{ic site and develop as an outgrowth called a bud. These buds, while attached to the parent plant, develop into small individuals. When this individual becomes large enough, it detaches itself from the parent body to exist as an independent individual.  In the Bryophyllum the leaves have small buds (as in potato). These buds later convert into small and very small plants which also have roots present on them. When these buds start growing further then the leaf becomes heavy and falls on the ground. Then the buds which are present on the Leaf dumps into ground and forms a plant.

(1) 1074K. (2) boiling point is more than melting point of MgCl2. (3) ① Ionic compounds are solid and are somewhat hard because of the strong force of attraction between the positive and negative ions. ② Ionic compounds have high melting and boiling points. (4) Sodium is highly reactive metal and reacts vigorously with the oxygen, carbon dioxide and moisture present in the air such that it may even cause fire. To prevent the explosive reaction, sodium is kept in kerosene oil. (5) Mercury is liquid at room temperature.

The aqueous solution of acid contain H+ ions and free ions/electrons are responsible for conducting electricity. And in aqueous state ions can moves freely to conduct electricity

Jay Rakecha 5 years, 1 month ago

Acids undergo dissociation in aqueous solution to form H+ ions. When electricity is passed through an aqueous solution of an acid, the H+ ions reach the cathode and each H+ ion picks up one electron from the cathode to form H2 gas. Because of this reaction, an aqueous solution of acid conducts electricity.

Khushi 5 years, 1 month ago

The aqueous solution of acid conduct electricity because the acid solution have H+ ions and the movement of these ions helps for the flow of electrical current through the solution.
