(i) World Trade Organisation (WTO) is an international rganisation whose aim is to liberalise international trade.
(ii) Started at the initiative of the developed countries, WTO establishes rules regarding international trade, and sees that these rules are obeyed.
(iii) Nearly 160 countries of the world are currently members of the WTO (as on June 2014).
(iv) Though WTO is supposed to allow free trade for all, in practice, it is seen that the developed countries have unfairly retained trade barriers.
(v) On the other hand, WTO rules have forced the developing countries to remove trade barriers.

As we all know that India is a federal country. the power sharing arrangements in India is Federal in nature. The Indian Constitution provide a three tier or level of power distribution.
1. Union List- defence, Foreign Affairs, banking, communication and currency.
2. State List- police, trade ,commerce, agriculture and irrigation.
3. Concurrent List- education ,forest ,trade unions, education and marriage.

Her statues were established on market place to create a sense of liberty among yhe citizens
Germania was the female allegory of Germany.
She wears the crown which contains the german oak leaves symbolise the heroism
Her sword show readiness to fight and the olive leaves surrounded show willingness to have peace.

2. As the English nation's wealth and power increased, its influence over other island nations also increased.
3. English Parliament had taken the power from the monarchy in 1688 after a long conflict. It became an instrument in building the nation-state of Britain, with England at its center.
4. United Kingdom of Britain was established through the Act of Union in 1707 between England and Scotland.
5. Scotland eventually got suppressed by the English politically and culturally as the British Parliament was dominated by the English.

In Meghalaya,a 200 year old system of tapping stream and spring water by using bamboo pipes,is prevalent.About 18-20 litres of water enters the bamboo pipe system,gets transported over hundreds of metres and reduces to 20-80 drops per minute at the site of the plant.Features of bamboo drip irrigation are:
Bamboo pipes are used to divert perrinial springson the hill tops to the lower reaches by gravity.
If the pipes pass a road they are taken high above the land.

In one - party system, only one party is allowed to control and run the government. China is its best example.
Merits
(i) Strong and Stable Government Since there is no opposition party, government is strong and cannot be removed or voted out of power.
(ii) Less Expensive Since there is only one party and one candidate of the party, not much money is spent on the election.
Demerits
(i) Undemocratic Government can become dictatorial.
(ii) No Choice It gives no choice to the voters.

Social difference in a society arises because of
1) Birth - the family in which we birth we have to take that religion as our.
2) Difference based on choices - our choices creates a lot of differences between us.
3) Difference between religion - there are many religions in our country every religion aspects are different from others.
4) Difference between economic status- the income we get also create difference as rich and poor.
5) Difference between colour - the skin we colour we have also created difference.
