Positive effects of globalisation:

  • Increased investments in Indian markets by MNCs have led to the growth of the Indian economy. In many fields such as automobiles, smartphones, soft drinks, fast foods and garments, MNCs have created a vast choice of products for consumers.
  • Local companies supplying raw materials to MNCs have developed and prospered. Many Indian companies such as Tata Motors and Ranbaxy have become multinational companies themselves.
  • Globalisation has opened many new opportunities for companies in the service sector, especially IT companies. These companies offer their cheap but efficient consulting services to many nations. This has also created millions of jobs in India.
  • Technology has been transferred to developing countries. It has enabled the production of quality goods in the international market.
  • Outsourcing is the major outcome of the globalisation process.

Apart from income, there are several other factors that decides the quality of our life..for eg, a job may offer you a high pay but leaves no time for your family, then it reduces your sense of freedm....before accepting a job people may look for several factors like opportunity to learn, working atmosphere, facilities for family, etc....a job may give you less pay but may offer u regular employment, this increases your sense of security.

The french indeed used the school textbooks in order to justify their colonial rule.
They actually represent the vietnamese as backward people and primitive. They show them that vietnamese are incapable of effective think but are good in the manual labor work. They also called them as "skilled copyists" in the book and illustrate that vietnamese neither can rule nor creative . The children at schools are ensured that the french will bring  peace through their rule.  They ensure at school  level that colonial rule of french are right .
