The factors which have enabled globalisation in India are
(i) During the past ,50 years, several improvements in technology have taken place. For example, in transportation technology, containers are now used for the transportation of goods. This has led to huge reduction in cost and increase in speed in reaching the markets.
(ii)Telecommunication facilities are used to contact one another around the world and to communicate from remote areas. Internet enables us to send instant electronic mail and talk across the world at negligible costs.
(iii) The Government of India has removed barriers or restrictions to trade set earlier. This step, called liberalisaHon, ha enabled goods and services to be exported and imported easily.
Multinationals lave been allowed to set-up factories and offices in India. Due to this, there is greater integration of poduction and markets across countries.

Earliest Novels : Some of the earliest Indian novels were written in Bengali and Marathi. The earliest novel in Marathi was Baba Padmanji's Yamuna Paryatan (1857), which used a simple style of storytelling to speak about the plight of widows. This was followed by Lakshman Moreshwar Halbe's Muktamala (1861).

In 1815 the European powers of Britain, Russia, prussia and Austria had collectively defeated Napoleon. Their chief representatives met at Vienna to come to a settlement for Europe. The Congress was hosted by Austrian chancellor Duke Metternich. The delegates grew up the Treaty of Vienna in 1815 with the aim of undoing what Napoleon had transferred in Europe.

There are three sectors of economy feasibly found i.e. Primary sector, Secondary sector and Tertiary sector. All the three sectors are interdependent.
Some examples are given to elucidate this fact
(i) Agricultural activities produce raw materials for agro- based industries and food for employees in Secondary and Tertiary sectors. It shows industrial sector and service sector’s dependency on Primary sector.
(ii) Industrial activities produce instruments like tractor, fertiliser for agricultural inputs and increase production and productivity in agriculture. Here, Primary sector depends on Secondary sector.
(iii) Transportation facilities are much required for transportation of agricultural products and industrial products to market rural and urban centres. Here, Primary and Secondary sector depend on Tertiary sector.

(i) Basic services like hospitals, education, post and telegraph, courts, etc. are the responsibility of the government in developing countries.

India is a federal country. It has governments at both-central and the state levels.
- After Independence, there were only few parties which formed governments at the centre and at the state levels. When rival parties formed the Government at the state level, the Central Government tried to misuse its powers by dismissing the State Governments. This weakened the federal spirit of our constitution.
- However, the condition improved after 1990 when many regional parties emerged in different states.
- This also marked the beginning of the coalition government. Two or more parties formed the Government at the centre in the absence of a clear majority. This led to a new era of power sharing and respecting the independent working of the State Governments.

Yes, it is true that “Mineral resources in India are unevenly distributed.” India is one such country which acquires rich and different types of mineral resources. The uneven distribution is due to the fact that India as a country has variation in Geological structure, processes and difference in time involved in the formation of minerals. Three examples to support this statement are as follows:
• The majority of the coal reserves, metallic minerals, Mica and other non-metallic minerals are found in peninsular rocks.
• Most of the petroleum deposits are found sedimentary rocks in the Western and Eastern flanks of the Peninsula, in Gujarat and Assam.
• Reserves of the non-ferrous minerals are found in Rajasthan with the rock systems of the Peninsula. Moreover, there is a lack of economic minerals in the vast alluvial plains of North India.
