1. It is now constitutionally mandatory to hold regular elections to local government bodies 2. Seats are reserved for SC, ST and OBC. 3. One-third of seats are reserved for women. 4. State Election commission has been formed to hold regular elections. 5. The state government are required to share some powers and revenue with local government bodies.

RBI supervises the functioning of formal sector but there is no organization which supervises the functioning of informal sector. Formal sector provides cheap and affordable credit while informal sector charges a very high rate of interest. Formal sector needs documentation and collateral while informal sector don't need so. Mostly rich household take loans from formal sector and poor household takes loans from informal sector. Formal sector are mostly found in urban areas while informal sector are sources of loan in rural areas. Examples of formal sector are banks and cooperatives and examples of informal sector are moneylenders and relatives. Hope it helps you

Gandhiji started the non-cooperation movement of 1921 due to the following reasons: (a) Britishers introduced the repressive rowlatt act in 1919. This act authorised the Britishers to arrest any Indian without a warrant which was severely critised by the Indians. (b) Jallianwala Bagh massacre was one of the painful incidents that made Indians revolt against the Britishers. ( c) Gandhiji wanted to support the khilafat movement through this movement to achieve hindu - muslim unity.

Horizontal power sharing-power is shared among different organ of govt. such as legislative ,executive and judiciary.Each organ check the other ,no one exercise unlimited power . 2. Vertical division of power sharing- power is shared among different level of govt.such as between central govt and state govt.and local govt.This system of govt.is also called federal system of govt.
