    A tricolour flag was designed at the time of Swadeshi Movement in Bengal. Features: 1) it was a tricolour having red green and white colour with a spinning Wheel in a Centre representing Gandhi's idea of self help. 2) it also had 8 lotuses which represented the provinces in India. 3) it also had a crescent moon which represent both Hindus and Muslims.
