There is not a lot diff between potential and reserves. Potential means which can be used with present technology but it is not started on a large scale or not started. Reserves are can be used with existing technology but they are reserved for the future. In short use of potential has not started and use of reserves are reserved for the future.

Wildlife and forests should be conserved for the following reasons:
• Wildlife and the forests are the measure of the biodiversity of a particular region. By conserving the wildlife and forest we are ensuring that all diverse species in an area survive, breed and flourish.
• Conservation of wildlife and forests is vital for the ecological stability of a particular area.
• It is important that we conserve wildlife and forests which we have inherited because they constitute our most precious wealth.
• Forests are the habitat for wildlife and they are an important constituent of the various food chains and food webs. Forests are needed for the smooth functioning of biogeochemical cycles.
• Forests are necessary for the formation of humus and for maintaining soil fertility.
• Forests puri air and protect the earth from greenhouse effect by removing carbon dioxide and converting it into oxygen. Thus forests protect us from the harmfril effects of global warming.
• Many industries such as the sport equipment industry paper industry, lac manufacturing industry, the timber industry and furniture industry depend on forests.
• Forests provide a place for the local people for their animals to graze and provide them with many useful products such as fire wood, fishing, hunting and agricultural implements.
• Many fruits, medicines, dyes, sandalwood and bamboo is obtained from forests by the local people.
• Forests provide employment to a large number of people and also help in generating revenue.

Unitary form of government is a government in which all the powers of government are concentrated into the hands of one central government and all the units are subordinate and under the central government.

The First World War was the first modern industrial war. The fighting involved the world’s leading industrial nations viz Britain, France and Germany, but its impact was felt around the world. This war saw the use of machine guns, tanks, aircraft and chemical weapons on a massive scale for the first time. Economically, this war proved to be very costly .This war proved to be very destructive. It is estimated that during the period of 4 years, about 9 million people were killed, 6 million were disabled and about 20 million were wounded. Most of the killed and wounded were men of working age, leading to reduction in the able bodied workforce in Europe.

Cotton textile became England‘s chief industry because:
(i) England had climate favorable for the cotton textile industry.
(ii) Cotton textile industries had already been started since the middle of 16th Century in England.
(iii) Ores and coal required for machines and factories were available in plenty.
(iv) Cotton was also easily available to England from her colonies.

1. Go east movement was an anti French movement which was started by 300 Vietnamese students who went for modern education in china and japan.
2. Their primary objective was to demolish French colonisation and to reestablish nguyen dynasty.
3. So, they searched for foreign arms to help
