Ammeter: In series connection, the same current flows through all the components. Ammeter aims at measuring the current flowing through the circuit and hence, it is connected in series: so that the same current that is there in the circuit flows through it and gets measured.
Ammeter has a low resistance, because we do not want to change the current that is flowing through the circuit.

A catalyst increases reaction rates in a slightly different way from other methods of increasing reaction rate. The function of a catalyst is to lower the activation energy so that a greater proportion of the particles have enough energy to react. A catalyst can lower the activation energy for a reaction by:
-
orienting the reacting particles in such a way that successful collisions are more likely
-
reacting with the reactants to form an intermediate that requires lower energy to form the product

R=V/I= 5/0.2=25ohm
therefore, resistance is 25 ohm.

X= 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s1
Y= 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p4
X will form an ionic bond as it can easily lose on e from outer shell
Y will form a covalent bond as it can't lose e and only can share
As the valence of X is 1 and y is 4 so they can form X4Y
