According to the law of food chain, only 10% of energy is transferred to the next level in the food chain.
Energy available to grass = 10000 J
=> Energy available to deer = 10 % of Energy available to grass
= 10/100 x 10000
= 1000 Joules
Similarly,
Energy available to lion = 10 % of Energy available to deer
= 10/100 x 1000
= 100 Joules
Hence the energy would be available to the deer to transfer it to the lion 100 Joules

With the increasing industrialization and population explosion, the demand for energy has been on an all time high. This has come with extreme repercussions, though.
The major sources of energy, the fossil fuels, are being rapidly consumed to meet our ever-growing energy needs. The implication? Our natural reserves are nearing exhaustion, meaning little or none would be left for the future generations to use.
Our environment is severely polluted- excessive use of non-green, conventional sources of energy has charred our planet. Our water, land, air are all polluted to an enormous extent: if no checks are made to the current situation, we would soon be at a point of no return.
There's a need to use renewable, green energy sources; solar energy, wind energy and geothermal energy are the need of our time. We need to tap into these limitless sources and meet our requirements responsibly.

Across the flood gullies; small check dams are made so that they hold the water and erosion of top most layer of soil can be prevented by the water. Construction of small check gullies across flood gullies also helps in recharging of ground water as water is hold for sometimes.

The word urinogenital is composed of two words urine and genital. Hence, urinogenital system refers to the organs of both urinary system as well as reproductive system.
It is because because both the systems originate and develop from the intermediate mesoderm. In addition, they use common ducts (urethra) for the flow of semen (product of reproductive system) and urine (product of excretory system) outside the body
