When a current of I (amperes) passes through a circuit of resistance R (ohms) for a time of t (seconds) then the heat produced is given by the relation
H=I2Rt (joules)
This relation is known as Joule’s law of heating. It states that the heat produced is proportional to (i) the square of the current I, (ii) resistance of the circuit R, and (iii) the time t during which the current flows through the circuit.

Given, electron enters a uniform magnetic field at right angles.
The electron will move normally outward.
Fleming's left hand rule
Stretch the forefinger, the central finger and the thumb of the left hand mutually perpendicular to each other. If the forefinger points in the direction of the magnetic field, the central finger in the direction of current, then the thumb points in the direction of force on the conductor.

Organisms grow and reproduce through cell division. In eukaryotic cells, the production of new cells occurs as a result of mitosis and meiosis. These two nuclear division processes are similar but distinct. Both processes involve the division of a diploid cell, or a cell containing two sets of chromosomes (one chromosome donated from each parent).

GENETIC DRIFT:- When the frequency of some genes gets changed in a small population due to some accidental reasons, such phenomenon is known as Genetic Drift. Genetic drift can give rise to different changes in sub-populations. It is random and rarely produces adaptations to the environment.

(a)It is necessary to separate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood in mammals and birds because warm-blooded animals such as birds and mammals maintain constant body temperature by cooling themselves when they are in a hotter environment and by warming their bodies when they are in a cooler environment.
(b)Hence, these animals require more oxygen for more cellular respiration so that they can produce more energy to maintain their body temperature. Thus, it is necessary for them to separate oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood, so that their circulatory system is more efficient and can maintain their constant body temperature.

Some of the variations may be helpful to the organisms in the prevailing natural conditions. Organisms with such positive variations would survive. Over the period variations keep appearing in a species. The favorable variations are chosen by natural selection and promotes survival of the species.
Depending on the nature of variations different individuals would have different kinds of advantage e.g., Bacteria variants which can tolerate heat have better survival chances in heat wave in comparison to non-variant bacteria having no capacity to tolerate heat wave.
However not all variations are useful or beneficial.
