Decay results from the action of bacteria that live in plaque, whichis a stick, withis film formed by a protein in saliva (mucin)and sugary substances in the mouth. Molecular phylogeny is how the molecular structures are used for gaining data or information about the evolutionary relationship of an organism.
One of the most common approaches, in this case, is how homologous genetic sequences are compared by using a sequence alignment process.
It helps to identify a similarity which will cover T-Coffee and Clustal W. Mitochondrial DNA data is used by molecular phylogeny for building a “relationship tree” which shows the entire evolution of different organisms.

Resistance is directly proportional to the potential difference across the terminals of a circuit. In series, the potential difference is greater, thus offering more resistance. Whereas in the parallel circuit, the potential difference is distributed, thus, in each series less potential difference is observed. That is why lesser resistance is offered by the conductor.

Prevention from Corrosion
Following methods can be used to prevent corrosion:
- Galvanisation
Method to protect steel and iron articles from rusting by coating them with a thin layer of zinc.
- Alloying
Homogeneous mixture of two or more metals, or a metal and a non-metal to change the properties of the pure state metals and protect them from rust.
- For instance, Iron is used widely for different purposes but it is never used in pure state. It is due to the fact that pure iron is very soft and stretches in hot state. But mixing with small amount of carbon (about 0.05%) makes it strong and tough. Mixing nickel and chromium with iron gives stainless steel, which is hard and does not rust.

As we pass from one trophic level to the next, only 10% of energy is transferred from the first trophic level to the next. This is because a lot of energy is lost to the surroundings and rest is utilised by the organism.
We can understand this better using an example.
When green plants are eaten by primary consumers, lot of energy is lost as heat to the environment. Some energy is used by the consumer into doing work and digestion whereas rest is used for growth and reproduction. About 10% of the eaten food is turned into its body and made available to the next level of consumers. So the actual energy passing to the next trophic level is only 10%.
