As magnesium is highly reactive it reacts with air and forms and coating if magbesium oxide on the surface of ribbon. Therefore in order to remove the layer of the coating of magnesiun oxide, we should rub magnesium ribbon with a sand paper so that we can get the pure product after burning in air.. The energy produced during respiration is stored in the form of ATP molecules in the cells of the body and used by the organism as when required.
ADP (Adenosine Di-Phosphate, low energy content), Inorganic Phosphate (Pi) and ATP (Adenosine Tri-Phosphate, high energy content) are the substances present inside a cell.
The energy released during respiration is used to make ATP molecules form ADP and inorganic phosphate.
ADP + Phosphate + Energy → ATP
(Low energy) (For respiration) (High energy)

Thus, energy is stored in the form of ATP.
When the cell needs energy, then ATP can be broken down using water to release energy. Thus:
ATP → ADP + Phosphate + Energy
The energy equivalent to 30.5KJ/mole is released in this process.

ANSWER

By how many times does the resistance of the resistor increaase when ONLY THE LENGTH IS DOUBLED? I asked my teacher and he said 4 times but the answer key if last year's papers say its two times. Please help :)

If only the lenght is doubled without changing the thickness then R becomes 2 times but if along with the doubling of lenght ,the thickness is halved then R becomes 4 times?

If area is also halved then it will increase 4 times

R is directly proportional to resistivity& length and inversely proportional to area. Here, area and resitivity are constant. So when length is doubled, resitance also gets doubled
