Because fertility here refers to the production of sperms or semen....
women have a menopause that is a pause in the production of reproductive cells called ova or egg cells....
however, in regular cases, i.e. unless a man has gone through disease that makes him lose fertility like tuberculosis(TB), the production of his reproductive cells called sperms doesn't stop and therefore he always remains fertile until and unless infected by diseases like TB..

Hydrochloric acid is discharged by the glands present on the abdomen walls. It dissolves particles of food and generates an acidic mechanism. Therefore, if HCl were not secreted in the abdomen, then pepsin would not be initiated. This would influence protein digestion. The HCl eliminate the germs and incite the enzyme pepsinogen. If the HCl is not discharged in the stomach the protein will not get assimilated and bacteria may not be killed which precipitate the disease in our body.

The raw materials for photosynthesis are carbon dioxide and water. The green plants take carbon dioxide from air for photosynthesis. The carbon dioxide gas enters the leaves of the plants through the stomata present on their surface. The water required by the plants for photosynthesis is absorbed by the roots of the plants from the soil through the process of osmosis. The water absorbed by the roots is transported upwards through the xylem vessels to the leaves where it reaches the photosynthetic cells and utilized in photosynthesis.
The conditions for photosynthesis are sunlight, chlorophyll, carbon dioxide and water.
Factors affecting the rate of photosynthesis are (i) Light (ii) Carbon dioxide (iii) Water (iv) Temperature (v) Mineral elements.

Massive amounts of gaseous exchange takes place in the leaves through tiny pores called stomata for the purpose of photosynthesis. The opening and closing of stomatal pores is controlled by the guard cells, when water flows into the guard cells, they swell, become curved and cause the pore to open whereas when the guard cells lose water, they shrink, become straight and close the stomatal pore.

Achievements of Mendeleev’s Periodic Table:
- Mendeleev kept some blank spaces in the periodic table for the elements which were yet to be discovered.
- He also predicted properties of some elements even before their discovery which were later found to be correct.
- Mendeleev’s periodic table could accommodate noble gases when they were discovered.
