?NATURAL SELECTION----- it is a phenomenon in nature that selects traits favorable to species in adjusting to its environment through the process of mutation. It can also be said as survival of fittest....more strong species = more life .......( ab hindi me--- jitna strong species hoga utna hi jada chance rhega ki vo survive kr ske?)...............?GENETIC DRIFT ------- the change in frequency of certain genes in a population over generation to generation.......it is more in small population and less in large populations.. its causes are natural disaster or mutation .......( ab hindi me ----agar ek green field m red and green beetles h to crow phle red ko khaenge...bcs green beetles will hide in grren grass of fields....then the population will become less of red beetles. ?).........I HAD EXPLAINED IN A VERY EASY MANNER......HOPE IT HELPS ???.

Heating effect of Current

When a voltage source like a battery generates current for a circuit, most of the energy is used up in maintaining the current inside the circuit. However, a portion of the energy is dissipated in the form of heat. In a circuit containing only battery and resistance, the entire energy is dissipated in the form of heat. This is heating effect of current.

Gallium is a chemical element with the symbol Ga and atomic number 31. Elemental gallium is a soft, silvery blue metal at standard temperature and pressure; however in its liquid state it becomes silvery white. If too much force is applied, the gallium may fracture conchoidally. It is in group 13 of the periodic table, and thus has similarities to the other metals of the group, aluminium, indium, and thallium. Gallium does not occur as a free element in nature, but as gallium(III) compounds in trace amounts in zinc ores and in bauxite.[6] Elemental gallium is a liquid at temperatures greater than 29.76 °C (85.57 °F), above room temperature, but below the normal human body temperature of 37 °C (99 °F). Hence, the metal will melt in a person's hands.

Amalgam is an alloy of mercury (Hg)

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 1 month ago

A mixture or an alloy of mercury with a number of metals or alloys such as sodium as well as with some non-metals is known as amalgam.

Uses:

1. Sodium is highly reactive metal and therefore it is difficult to transport. To lower its reactivity, it is mixed with mercury.

2. Dental amalgam is a mixture of mercury and a silver-tin alloy and is used for fillings in teeth.

Paramecium obtain their food through the use of tiny hairs called cilia; they use the cilia to move the food into the oral groove until it reaches the mouth opening. The cilia are also used to help the paramecium move.

Paramecium live in water habitats, feeding on algae, bacteria and yeast. Food and water enter into the oral groove. The food travels through the mouth into the gullet, where it accumulates and creates a vacuole. Digestive enzymes break down the vacuole's contents, allowing the nutrients to pass into the cytoplasm. The vacuole then refills with waste and moves to the **** pore. Waste is passed through the **** pore back into the paramecium's environment.
