Light rays before striking the air bubbles have to travel through water.
These light rays which strike the air bubbles at angles greater than critical angle for water-air surface are totally reflected and it is because of these reflected rays that the air bubbles appear silvery.

The difference between uniform and non-uniform mixtures is the degree at which the materials are mixed and the sameness of their composition throughout the mixture.
Another word for a uniform mixture is a homogeneous mixture. Homogeneous mixtures have the same composition throughout (home = the same). There is only one phase (state of matter) observed in a uniform, homogeneous mixture. By definition, solutions are uniform/homogeneous mixtures. Examples would be Kool-Aid, fruit punch, salt water, vinegar, vodka, etc.
On the other hand, non-uniform mixtures are also called heterogeneous mixtures. Heterogeneous mixtures are not the same throughout (hetero = different). Trail mixes and salads are great examples of non-uniform, heterogeneous mixtures. Every handful that is grabbed or bite that is taken is slightly different.

Focal length f = 10 cm
Object distance u = -15 cm
Image distance v= ?
The lens formula is 1/f = 1/v - 1/u
1/v = 1/u + 1/f
1/v = 1/-15 + 1/10
1/v = -2+3/30
1/v = 1/30 or v = 30
The positive sign of v shows that the image is formed at a distance of 30 cm on the other side of optical centre. The image is real and inverted.
