Given Charge, Q = 96000C
Time, t= 1hr = 60 x 60= 3600s
Potential difference, V= 50volts
Now we know that H= VIt
so we have to calculate I first
As I= Q/t
ˆ´ I = 96000/3600 = 80/3 A
Therefore, the heat generated is 4.8 x 106 J.

The heating element of the heater is made up of alloy which has very high resistance so when current flows through the heating element, it becomes too hot and glows red. But the resistance of cord which is usually of copper or aluminum is very low so it does not glow.

We know that,
Heat = V^2 × t / R
100J = V^2 × 1sec. / 4ohm
V^2 = 100J × 4ohm / 1sec.
V^2 = 400
V = ✓400
V = 20V

Piece of bread is generally composed of starch molecules.
After chewing it for long time, the enzymes in the mouth start attack the starch molecules which is further converted into glucose.
It is the glucose which provides sweet taste.
Thus, due to the action of enzymes the starch chains are converted into glucose.

| The same amount of current flows through all the components | The current flowing through each components combines to form the current flow through the source. |
| In an electrical circuit, components are arranged in a line | In an electrical circuit, components are arranged parallel with each other |
| When resistors are put in a circuit, the voltage across each resistor is different even though the current flow is the same through all of them. | When resistors are put in this circuit, the voltage across each of the resistors is the same. And even the polarities are the same |
| If one component breaks down, the whole circuit will burn out. | Other components will function even if one component breaks down, each has its own independent circuit |
| If V_{t} it total voltage then it is equal to V1+V2+V3 | If V_{t} it total voltage then it is equal to V1=V2=V3 |
