Air gap (networking) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. An air gap, air wall or air gapping is a network security measure employed on one or more computers to ensure that a secure computer network is physically isolated from unsecured networks, such as the public Internet or an unsecured local area network. An air gap is completely insulator i.e. very high electrical resistance ≈ 109 Ωm, since it consists of molecules of oxygen and nitrogen. There are no free electrons. However, application of very high potential ionizes air and it becomes conducting, the potential gradient required is 3x106 V/m.

Reproduction is the process by which new individuals are produced by the parents. This process is very important in maintaining stability in the ecosystem and for the continuation of life on earth. Had there been no reproduction, all the species would have become extinct.
Reproduction maintains a balance between the birth rate and death rate. The new individuals replace the old and the dying population. It also helps in increasing the number of species in the ecosystem.
The genes are transmitted from the parents to the offspring. This leads to the evolution of species. Variations in species and their ability to survive in different environments is the result of reproduction.

Breathing consists of two phases called inhalation and exhalation, it richs air comes out of the body. It occurs when the diaphragm moves up and the chest cavity becomes narrower. This creates a pressure on the air inside the lungs. As a result the air comes out of the lungs to the atmosphere due to lack of space inside. During this process, the chest wall expands out and away from the lungs.

In four chambered heart , left half is completely separated from right half by septa. This prevents oxygenated and deoxygenated blood from mixing. This allows a highly efficient supply of oxygenated blood to all parts of the body. This is useful in animals that have high energy needs, such as birds and mammals .
