One ray of light becomes parallel to the principal axis of the lens and thus, passes through another focus after refraction through the lens. Another ray of light passes through the optical centre of the lens and goes straight. Therefore, the image formed is: At infinity, Real and inverted, highly enlarged. when a ray of light passes through optic lens of a thin lens, it goes straight through the lens without changing path.

Colloidal solutions, or colloidal suspensions, are nothing but a mixture in which the substances are regularly suspended in a fluid. ?

? Pranali.A.P ? 5 years, 5 months ago

A colloid is a heterogeneous mixture whose particles are not as small as solution but they are so small that cannot be seen by naked eye. When a beam of light is passed through a colloid then the path of the light becomes visible. For example milk, smoke etc.

Since image distance is 40 cm from the mirror, object is at the same position and thus at 40 cm from the mirror. When the object is moved 20 cm towards the mirror, then it is at Focus of the mirror (since 2F = 40) . In this case the image is formed at infinity.

Daughter cells resulting from this r diploid..... Meiosis : It involves the division of *** cells It gives 4 nuclei. It leads to genetic variations due to crossing nd independent assortments. It includes twice division. Daughter cells resulting from this r haploid.....( hope it help u)..

Exocrine glands are named apocrine glands, holocrine glands, or merocrine glands based on how their products are secreted. Merocrine secretion – cells excrete their substances by exocytosis; for example, pancreatic acinar cells. Apocrine secretion – a portion of the cell membrane that contains the excretion buds off

Substitution reactions are of prime importance in organic chemistry. In a displacement reaction, a more reactive element replaces a less reactive element from a compound. In a double displacement reaction, two atoms or a group of atoms change places to form new compounds. (Hope it helps.)?

Ans: pancreas

Explanation:

  • The pancreas is a glandular organ in the upper abdomen, but really it serves as two glands in one: a digestive exocrine gland and a hormone-producing endocrine gland.
  • Functioning as an exocrine gland, the pancreas release enzymes to break down the proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids in food.
  • Functioning as an endocrine gland, the pancreas secretes the hormones insulin and glucagon that control blood sugar levels.
  • Both of these diverse functions are vital to the body’s survival. Adrenal, Thyroid, and Pituitary glands are endocrine glands that only secrete hormones.

Alveoli are covered with blood capillaries so that the exchange of gases can take place between the membranes of the alveoli and the surrounding capillaries. The blood capillaries covering alveoli have a low oxygen and high carbon dioxide concentrations. This allows oxygen to diffuse into the blood and carbon dioxide to diffuse out of the blood.
