A hydrogen ion is formed when a hydrogen atom loses an electron and therefore becomes positively charged (it has a charge of +1). A hydrogen atom is therefore often referred to as just a proton, as it is left with only one proton and no electrons, as a H atom only has one of each. It can be formed when an acid is present in water or simply in pure water. It's chemical formula is H3O+. ... As H+ ions are formed, they bond with H2O molecules in the solution to form H3O+ (the hydronium ion). This is because hydrogen ions do not exist in aqueous solutions, but take the form of the hydronium ion, H3O+.

One of the organ which is analogous to the wings of the birds are Wings of insects.
Explanation:
- Analogous organs can be defined as those organs which have the similar functions but are derived embryologically in a different way.
- for example the wings of the birds on the wings of the insects both play the same function of flying in the air.
- But the wings of the birds are modified front Limbs and the wings of the insects are nothing but the extension of the body appendages present in the insects.
- As a result they were derived in a different way during embryogenesis.

If 1 ohm resistance is applied to 1m conductor with cross-section area 1m2 then resistivity is 1 ohm m.
Resistivity is denoted by the symbol 'ρ' (rho).
= Ohm-m
Hence SI unit is 'ohm meter' or 'ρm'

Meaning of sonorous • capable of giving a deep, resonant sound.• makes a ringing sound when hit.
Electron bondings in metals is highly delocalized ( due to very low Electronegativity).
This means that when hit, the electron clouds move easily - there is very little energy dissipiated.
This allows the incoming kinetic energy to be easily propagated as a form of disequilibrium (wave)
Not all metals have this physical property....

Tap water contains dissolved salts in it. These salts dissociate into ions when electricity passed through it which are responsible for the electrical conductivity of tap water. But distilled water does not contain any dissolved salts, so it does not conduct electricity. Tap water conducts electricity because it contains dissolved salts and minerals which ionise in water. The presence of these ions makes tap water good conductors of electricity. Therefore, due to the lack of ions in the liquid, distilled water does not conduct electricity.

- Connective Tissue
- Muscle Tissue
- Nervous Tissue
- Epithelial Tissue
The classification of plant tissues
- Epidermis Tissues – cells formed from the outer most surface of the leaves.
- Vascular Tissues – involved in transporting fluid and nutrients internally.
- Ground Tissue – involved in producing nutrients by photosynthesis and preserve nutrients.
- Meristematic tissues.

Amphoteric oxides and hydroxides share the property of being able to behave as acids. An amphoteric oxide is one that can act as either an acid or a base. Generally, non-metallic oxides are acidic and metallic oxides are basic. Metallic oxides, which show the basic as well as acidic nature, are known as amphoteric oxides. Elements that form amphoteric oxides have some characteristics of metals and some of the non-metals.

Dilution of concentrated acid is an exothermic process. If water is added to a concentrated acid, the heat generated may cause the mixture to splash out and cause burns. When the acid is added to water slowly with constant stirring, the mixture will not splash out .
