First, Mendel took pure tall pea plant(TT) and pure dwarf pea plant (tt). Then he crossed pure tall with pure dwarf. In the F1 generation, all are tall plants (Tt). When these plants are self pollinated, we get the results as TT, Tt, Tt, tt. In this three are tall and one is small. So the phenotype ratio is 3:1.But if we say the genotype ratio, we must consider the following: Homogenous Tall (TT) : 1 Heterogeneous Tall (Tt) :2 Homogenous Dwarf(tt) : 1 Hence, the genotype ratio is 1:2:1.

With the help of haploid cells i.e. sperm cell and ovum having 23 chromosomes each. When fertilization takes place, both the cells fuse and form a zygote of total 46 chromosomes or a pair of 23 chromosomes. Hence the original number (2n) is restored in the progeny

Tejasvi 7 1 year, 11 months ago

A Concave mirror gives a virtual, erect and enlarged image of an object (remember the 6th case). Even though convex mirror always forms virtual and erect image of the object, it never forms enlarged image. It always forms diminished image. So the answer is Concave Mirror.

Aluminium, Iron, Zinc and other metals in the middle of the reactivity series don't directly react with water. They react with steam to form their respective metal oxides and hydrogen gas. These metals generally have a coating of oxide on them which prevent them from reacting further.

The egg (Ovum) is released by the ovary every month. In case of fertilisation, it becomes zygote. The developing zygote travels into the uterus and gets stuck to the wall of the uterus where the placenta provides it with nourishment for its growth. The process of sticking of fertilised egg cell in the wall of the uterus is called implantation.
