Calcium reacts with cold water to form  calcium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. Heat produced is so less in which is not enough to burn hydrogen gas. The calcium metal floats on water because the bubbles of Hydrogen gas formed during reaction and increase the volume of the element and stick to its surface. Magnesium metal reacts with hot water to form magnesium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. The magnesium metal floats on water because the bubbles of Hydrogen gas formed during reaction and increase the volume of the element and stick to its surface. so,because of the evolution of hydrogen gas that occurs by the formation of bubbles Ca and Mg floats on water.

Aerobic- It is a type of respiration that occurs in the presence of oxygen. Anaerobic- It is a type of respiration that occurs when there is insufficient or no supply of oxygen. It forms lactic acid and also causes cramps

Sia ? 4 years, 3 months ago

External respiration is the breathing process. It involves inhalation and exhalation of gases. Internal respiration involves gas exchange between the blood and body cells. Cellular respiration involves the conversion of food to energy.

Rancidity is defined as the slow oxidation of oils and fats preset in food materials resulting in some bad smelling compounds. corrosion is basically when the surface of a metal gets eat up. but in case of iron it is know as rusting . rancidity is when the food gets oxidised and a foul smell start coming from it .

Ritika Aggarwal 4 years, 3 months ago

Corrosion- Rusting of iron. Rancidity- Oxidation of oils and fats present in food.

When we do various activities for a longer time it leads to lack of oxygen(ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION), ultimately leading to formation of lactic acid. Thus, muscle cramps occur

Sweta Jha 4 years, 3 months ago

Due to accumulation of lactic acid in muscles

Disha Goyal 4 years, 3 months ago

The flow of electrons is termed electron current. Electrons flow from the negative terminal to the positive. Conventional current or simply current, behaves as if positive charge carriers cause current flow. Conventional current flows from the positive terminal to the negative.

Anmol Preet 4 years, 3 months ago

After you eat, it takes about six to eight hours for food to pass through your stomach and small intestine. Food then enters your large intestine (colon) for further digestion, absorption of water and, finally, elimination of undigested food. It takes about 36 hours for food to move through the entire colon.
