Let the two number be x and y Now, as per condition one We get 2x+3y=92-----------(1) And as per condition two We get- 4x=7y+2 or 4x-7y=2---------------(2) On solving the above equations We get x=25 y=14 Hope that helps.

Let √2+√3 be rational. So it can be written in form of p /q where q is not equal to zero and p and q are co-primes. Therefore, √2+√3=p/q √2= p/q-√3 √2= p-√3q/q Here we can see that route to can be expressed in form of fraction (p/q) but it is a contradictory that √ 2 is irrational. This contradiction is arison because of our incorrect assumption of √2+√3 as rational Therefore it can be proved that √2+√3 is irrational. (This solution can be applicable if √ 2 and √3 is given as irrational)

Using Euclid division algorithm a=bq+r where 0<r<b 196<38220 a=38220 b=196 ATQ 38220=196×195+0 here r=0 Hence, the HCF of 196&38220 is 195

Let's assume √3 is rational so it's is √3=p/q By squaring both sides (√3)²=(p/q)² 3=p²/q² 3×q²=p² Here p² is the factor of 3 so p is a factor of 3 Now, 3c=p² 3c=3×q² Here 3 is a factor of q so it is irrational

Faheema Faima 2 years ago

a² is divisible by 3 b² is divisible by 3 So √3 is irrational
