Since, the points P, Q, R and S divide the line segment joining the points

A (1, 2) and B (6, 7) in five equal parts, so

AP = PQ = QR = R = SB

Here, point P divides AB in the ratio of 1 : 4 internally So using section formula, we get

The point Q divides AB in the ratio of 2 : 3 internally. So using section formula, we get

The point R divides AB in the ratio of 3 : 2 internally So using section formula, we get

Hence, the coordinates of the points P, Q and R are (2,3) , (3,4) and (4,5) respectively

The Indian Constitution contains Fundamental Rights. These rights are very important because they protect us against State power as well as against the tyranny of the majority. The Indian Constitution allows individuals the freedom to live by their religious beliefs and practices as they interpret these. Thus, our Constitution gives religious freedom to all and to maintain it India adopted a strategy of separating the power of religion and the power of the State. Secularism is, in fact, the separation of religion from the State

Harshita Dhariwal 6 years, 3 months ago

In secularism no superior status is given to any religion . All the religion are treated equally.

Distance covered by the first plane in 1.5 hours = 1500 km

Distance covered by the second plane in 1.5 hours = 1800 km
The position of the two planes after 1.5 hour journey can be shown by a right triangle and we need to find the hypotenuse to know the aerial distance between them.
Here; h = ? p = 1800 km and b = 1500 km
From Pythagoras theorem;
h2 = p2 + b2Or, h2 = 18002 + 15002= 3240000 + 2250000 = 5490000Or, h = 300√61 km

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 3 months ago

It is a formula (a+b)(a-b) = a^2-b^2

Or else u can also solve the equation in a general manner . The same will be as follows

(a+b)(a-b) = a*a + a*-b + a*b + b*-b

=a^2-ab+ab-b^2

=a^2-b^2

Question: Prove that root 5 is an irrational number.

Answer:

Let us assume that √5 is a rational number.
we know that the rational numbers are in the form of p/q form where p,q are intezers.
so, √5 = p/q
     p = √5q
we know that 'p' is a rational number. so √5 q must be rational since it equals to p
but it doesnt occurs with √5 since its not an intezer
therefore, p =/= √5q
this contradicts the fact that √5 is an irrational number
hence our assumption is wrong and √5 is an irrational number.

As we know that, S= n/2(2a+(n-1)d). Then, 192 = 8/2 ( 2×3 + ( 8-1 ) d) , 192 = 24 + 56/2× d , 168 = 56/2 × d , 168× 2 = 56 d , 336/56 = d , 6 = d , So, the value of d is 6.

a(3) = a + 2d
4 = a + 2d
a(9) = a + 8d
-8 = a + 8d
(elimination method)
a + 2d = 4
(-) a + (-)8d =(+) -8 (opposite sign)
0 - 6d = 12
d = -2
a + 2(-2) = 4 (substitution)
a = 8
a(n) = a + (n-1)d
0 = 8 + (n-1)(-2)
= 8 - 2n + 2
= 10 - 2n
2n = 10
 n = 5

In Bachpan Classes, we have learnt how to do calculation,may be you not but i have learnt it, so it was "DMAS",i.e.,  2 + 2 x 2 divided by 2 = 36

=> 2 + 2 x 1 = 36 => 2 + 2 = 36 => 36 - 4 => 32

Answer By :- Syeda

A non-leap year has 365 days
A year has 52 weeks. Hence there will be 52 Sundays for sure.
52 weeks = 52 x 7 = 364 days .
365– 364 = 1day extra.
In a non-leap year there will be 52 Sundays and 1day will be left.
This 1 day can be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,friday,Saturday, Sunday.
Of these total 7 outcomes, the favourable outcomes are 1.
Hence the probability of getting 53 sundays = 1 / 7.
∴ probability of getting 52 sundays = 1 - 1/ 7 = 6 / 7.
