x^2+x+7 ____________________ x^2+1√x^4+x^3+8x^2+ax+b x^4+ 0 + x^2 - - - _____________________ x^3+7x^2+ax+b x^3+ 0 + x - - - ______________________ 7x^2 + ax-x+b 7x^2 + 7 - - _______________________ ax - x + b -7 _______________________ Now, we take common from the remainder. Since, x^2+ 1 is a factor. Therefore, Remainder= 0 x( a-1) + b -7= 0 i.e. a-1=0 ; b-7=0 a= 1 ; b= 7

Area of the circle= 314 sq.cm Area of the circle = πr^2 314 = 3.14 ×r^2 314 =314/100×r^2 314×100/314=r^2 100=r^2 r=10cm Circumference or perimeter of the circle= 2πr =2×3.14×10 = 2×31.4 = 62.8cm

Area of circle = 314 cm
Πr²=314
3.14×r² = 314
r²=314 / 3.14
r²=(314×100) / 314
r²=100
r=10
Circumference = 2Πr
=> 2×3.14×10
=> 62.8cm²

Let us assume that √3 is a rational number.

then, as we know a rational number should be in the form of p/q

where p and q are co- prime number.

So,

√3 = p/q { where p and q are co- prime}

√3q = p

Now, by squaring both the side

we get,

(√3q)² = p²

3q² = p² ........ ( i )

So,

if 3 is the factor of p²

then, 3 is also a factor of p ..... ( ii )

=> Let p = 3m { where m is any integer }

squaring both sides

p² = (3m)²

p² = 9m²

putting the value of p² in equation ( i )

3q² = p²

3q² = 9m²

q² = 3m²

So,

if 3 is factor of q²

then, 3 is also factor of q

Since

3 is factor of p & q both

So, our assumption that p & q are co- prime is wrong

hence,. √3 is an irrational number
