The breadth of a rectangle =  5m, and

The area of a rectangle = 1000m/s.

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

1000 = length × 5

length = 1000/5 = 200 m

x2-5x+k

 Here, a=1, b=-5 and c=k

Now, α+ β = -b/a= -(-5)/1= 5

α*β  = c/a= k/7= k

 Now,α - β =1

 Squaring both sides, we get,

 (α - β)2=12

⇒ α2 + β2 - 2αβ = 1

⇒ (α2 + β2 + 2αβ) - 4αβ = 1

⇒ (α +β)2 -4αβ =1

⇒ (5)2-4k=1

⇒ -4k= 7-25

 ⇒ -4k= -24

⇒ k=6 So the value of k is 6.

By using euclid division algorithm , The ans is _ 1. 867>225 2. 867= 225 × 3 +192. R is not equals to 0 Tgen again apply euclid divison lemma 3. 225 = 192 × 1 + 33 4. 192 = 33 × 5 + 27 5. 33 = 27 × 1 + 6 6. Finally ,27= 6 × 4 + 3 7 .At last 6 = 3 × 2 + 0 Here fiannly in 7 step R is equals to zero then the HCF of 867 and 225 is 2 Hope it help

Usha Rani 5 years, 7 months ago

To get 95 percent first always be confident that you can do anything. Then you just clear all topics of all the subjects after that u just revise all the models from all the chapters. And then after completing text book and notes u just revise previous years question papers. It won't give 95 percent but it will cover some 70 percent of questions.

From the question no.1 we have to find the decimal expansion of only those numbers which have a terminating decimal expansion For example 13÷3125 is terminating , then we have to find its decimal expansion It can be written as 13÷5^5 and then we will multiply 2^5 upside and down 13*2^5÷5^5*2^5 13*b32÷10^5 416÷10^5 0.00416

Jaspreet Singh 5 years, 7 months ago

Here you write this no by taking 2 or 8 anything common as i write by taking 2 common 2(10×9×8×5+8) So now 2 is also a factor of this given no. So this no has more than 2 factors, hence it is a composite number.

Let height of each candle = x unit. First candle burns off in 6 hours. Second candle burns off in 8 hours. Height of 1st candle after burning for 1 hr = x6unit and height of 2nd candle after burning for 1 hr = x8unit Let the required time =y hrs. Length of 1st candle burnt after y hrs = y×x6unit Height of 1st candle left = (x−xy6) Length of 2nd candle burnt after y hrs = (y×x8)unit Height of 2nd candle left = (x−xy8) According to the question, Height of 1st candle = 12×Height of 2nd candle ⇒x−xy6=12(x−xy8) ⇒x(1−y6)=12x(1−y8) 1−y6=12(1−y8) ⇒2−y3=1−y8 2−1= y3−y8 1 = 8y−3y24 ⇒ 24=5y ⇒ y= 245 y=4.8hours=4 hours 48 minutes.
