Assume values then form equations, place the equations in proper places keeping arithmetic signs in mind and then solve ,afterwards split the mid term and you'll have two values of the variable choose the favourable value and at last write an answer line and underline the main answer.

Because we started the whole process assuming that a/b was simplified to lowest terms, and now it turns out that a and b both would be even. We ended at a contradiction; thus our original assumption (that √2 is rational) is not correct. Therefore √2 cannot be rational. ... A proof that the square root of 2 is irrational

Let us assume that √2 is rational such that p and q are coprimes and q not equal to 0 Therefore, √2 = p/q => √2q = p , SQUARING ON BOTH SIDES : 2q^2 = p^2 , 2 divides p^2 therefore 2 divides p__________(1) Let us take p = 2r for an integer r Therefore, => 2q^2 = (2r)^2 => q^2 = 2r^2 2 divides q^2 therefore it also divides q __________(2) From (1),(2) It shows that p and q have 2 as common factor, but it contradicts the fact that p and q are coprimes. This contradiction has arisen due to our wrong assumption. Therefore, we conclude that √2 is irrational //

The memento is as shown in the attached picture.

The angle at A for ΔABC is 90 degrees.

Area of ΔABC = AB * AC/2 = 10* 10/2 = 50 Square cm.

Area of sector APR = Фπr²/360

Ф= angle in degrees.

r = radius of circle = 7 cm.

Area of sector APR = 90 * 22 * 7 * 7/(360 * 7) = 22 * 7/4 = 38.5 Square cm.

Area of Silver coated base (PBCR) = Area of ΔABC – Area of Sector APR.

= 50 – 38.5 = 11.5 Square cm.

In algebra, a quadratic equation is any equation that can be rearranged in standard form as ax^{2}+bx+c=0 where x represents an unknown, and a, b, and c represent known numbers, where a ≠ 0. If a = 0, then the equation is linear, not quadratic, as there is no ax^2 term.
