Griffin, described as a lawless person, likely operates outside the confines of established legal and ethical frameworks. This could imply a disregard for societal norms, regulations, or moral boundaries. Such individuals might engage in activities perceived as unlawful or unethical, showing a tendency to ignore or defy rules and regulations. Griffin's actions might be driven by personal motivations, a lack of regard for consequences, or a belief that rules don't apply to them. This behavior can lead to conflict, risk-taking, or even criminal involvement, as they navigate the world according to their own principles or desires, often disregarding the repercussions their actions might have on others or the community at large.

Poonam Chouhan 2 years, 11 months ago

It is rightly said that Griffin was a lawless person He was not a law abiding citizen. A person. who follows law and order of the country can not think of damaging other's property. But Griffin set fire to the house and become a homeless wanderer." He also robbed a shopkeeper of all the money be could find. He stole the house keeping money from the clergyman's desk. Griffin also attacked Mrs. Hall when she entered. his room. All these activities and instances prove that he was really a lawless person.

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 9 months ago

Yes, we can say that Griffin was a lawless person. He didn't follow the law and order of the country as he thought of having his revenge by setting out fire in his landlord's property. He didn't believe in observing law. He robbed a shopkeeper of all the money he could find. In addition to that, he hit him hard from behind to escape without being seen. He stole the housekeeping money from the clergyman's desk. He also attacked Mrs. Hall with his cap and her furniture when she intruded his room. All these instances prove that he was a lawless person.

ccording to Helen her father was very loving and indulgent towards his family. He was fully devoted to his home.He seldom left his family except in the Hunting season. He was a great hunter and the celebrated shot. Next to his family he loved his dogs and guns. He was a hospitable man who enjoyed bringing guests home. He loved to show the guests his beautiful garden where he raised the finest watermelons and strawberries in the country. He would bring the first ripe grapes and the choicest berries for Helen. Helen remembers her father's caressing touch as he led her from tree to tree and from vine to vine. She also remembers his eager delight in whatever pleased Helen.

Helen's father Arthur H  Keller was formerly the captain in the Confederate army. He was a caring father. He was a good storyteller. When Helen had learnt manual alphabet he used to spell into Helen’s hand his clever anecdotes. It was he who brought light in Helen's life through Miss Sullivan.

In 1896 Helen was in the North ,enjoying the last beautiful days of the summer when she heard the news of a father's death. This was Helen's first great sorrow. It was her first personal experience with death.
