The crow and hemlock tree represent sorrow. Hemlock is a poisnous plant .it brings about depression. The crow is also a bird of ill omen .it does not inspire or move us .Rather it repels us. The dust of snow that the crow shook off a hemlock tree is a sign of natures blessing .when the dust of snow fell on his head he was suddenly transformed . All his sorrow and depression was gone and he became happy. ??

Wanda has no friends because everyone had “easier” names than 'Wanda Petronski'. Her name was different because she was a Polish immigrant who had come to an American town with her family. She was poor and did not have many friends.

Ausable was staying at a French hotel. His room was on the sixth story. There was an important paper with him. It was a report on missiles.
Max entered his room to take that report. He sneaked up to his room by using a passkey. Ausable was a clever secret agent. He was very witty and had a presence of mind. He fabricated a story about a balcony outside the window of his room. He told Max that he had complained to the hotel authorities about the balcony but they hadn't taken any action yet. That was the second time that someone had entered his room through it. Suddenly someone knocked at the door. Max got frightened at this. Ausable again used his wit and told him that it was the police as he had asked for more protection for the important paper. Max took the entire story as gospel and jumped from the window. Ausable and Fowler heard a loud cry. It was the end of Max.

Sub: Inconvenience of unauthorised parking of vehicles for locals Sir, I hope you are well aware that Ghaziabad is the heart and soul of our capital. It is the busiest place of the city. It attracts a large number of businessmen foreigners and tourists daily. Being a centre of trade, there is a great hustle and bustle in the market. But during the peak hours, no one can park a car at a safe place because the parking facilities are insufficient for the area. For parking a car one has to look here and there for proper safety and availability of a parking place. Due to this, they park their vehicles in streets if it is suitable for them. This causes overcrowding in our streets, causing inconvenience among the locals. If a suitable spot is available by chance, it difficult to get ones’s vehicle back because of the shortage of sufficient space. I, Akash/Akansha, a resident of Kavi Nagar, on behalf of all the local people, ask that you would see to that traffic measures be taken and provision of parking spaces for incoming vehicles are marked. Please take suitable steps to solve this genuine problem for the people other areas that are affected by this nuisance as well. The Police Commissioner (Traffic)
Connaught Place, New Delhi

Sir,

Sub inadequate parking facility in the Connaught Place area.

You are well aware that Connaught Place is the heart and soul of our capital. It is the busiest place of the city. It attracts a large number of businessmen foreigners and tourists daily. Being a centre of trade, there is a great hustle and bustle in the market.

During the peak hours one cannot park a car at a safe place because the parking facilities are only in a name.

For parking a car one has to look here and there for proper safety and availability of a parking place. If a suitable spot is available by chance, it difficult to get ones’s vehicle back because of the shortage of sufficient space.

Under these circumstances, it is imperative on the part of the authorities to make sufficient facilities available for parking the vehicles.

I hope you will definitely realise the inconvenience caused to all. Please take suitable steps to solve this genuine problem.

Yours faithfully,

Letter to the Editor Format Sample The article on [name the article and the date of publication] should have mentioned the surprisingly low enrollment rates in benefits programs for seniors in need. There are significant barriers to enrollment that keep seniors with limited means from getting the assistance that could truly help them. For example, up to 4.2 million people with Medicare are still not receiving Extra Help with their prescription drug costs. The low-income subsidy is worth nearly $3,200 a year on average for people who qualify, but a significant number have not yet enrolled. A federal government program that pays Medicare premiums to those who really need the help has a participation rate of only 13% and still another similar program will expire in September if Congress fails to act. Incredibly, access to these important programs is also denied if seniors have even a small savings nest egg. Congress is currently considering long overdue improvements to increase participation in these programs. These changes can go a long way to making needed health care and medicine affordable and accessible to millions of our nation’s most vulnerable seniors. Sincerely, [Your name]

Mr. Herriot, the narrator is a veterinary surgeon. As a person, he is tactful, full of common sense and humanity. He initially advises Mrs. Pumphrey to cut down on Tricki's diet. But when she doesn't do so, it is his tact to admit Tricki in the hospital and it is his common sense that he understands that Tricki is sick only because of overfeeding.
