The poem ''The Ball Poem'' has a very deep meaning conveyed beautifully by the poet through the medium of a boy who has lost his ball. The loss of his ball teaches the boy that in life, we often lose things and they cannot be easily replaced. Such lessons are a part of growing up, and everyone should learn to accept and let go.

Yes, I had a similar experience in my life. When I was a little child, I got a bicycle on my birthday but I had a great fear of cycling. I felt that I would not be able to balance my cycle properly, fear seized me. My parents encouraged me a lot for cycling but all in vain. One day my father took me to the ground with my bicycle. I started to ride my cycle and fearfully completed my first round. Then I became confident and enjoyed cycling.

A 'dust of snow' are snowflakes or small and soft particles of snow that settle down on the various objects on the Earth during a snowfall. This dust of snow changed the poet's mood. Ausable is different from other secret agents as he does not look like a secret agent. He is very fat. He looks like a very simple and regular man. He does not fit any description of a secret agent. He lives in a small room on the sixth and top floor. His appearance and mannerism do not exhibit any qualities of a spy.

The young seagull was afraid of flying as he was afraid of heights. The sea expanse was vast and he thought that his wings would not support him. He was afraid of falling and hurting himself.

Max was a secret agent, who had come to collect the same secret papers on missiles that Ausable had come for. Ausable outwitted him by making a false story about the balcony. When there was a knock on his door, he said that it was the police who had come to ensure the safety of the papers. Max took the entire story as gospel and tried to escape through the window and died.
