Ravjeer was classmate of Pranjol . They studied in Delhi. Pranjol's father was a manager in tea plantation in Assam. He invited Ravjeer to Assam. Both were going there in a train. In the way, they sipped tea and discussed about it. Ravjir told that over 80 lakh cups of tea were daily consumed all over world. He had collected a lot if information about Assam and it's tea plantation . As they were going closer to their destination, scene outside window was changing. It was becoming more and more green and refreshing. There were rows of tea bushes and many dolls - like women with basket on their back were collecting tea leaves. Ravjir was excited about his journey.

In the chapter , the hack driver, Oliver Lutkins is the witness of a case, appears as cunning man, refused to appear as a witness. A young lawyer is appointed to search for Lutkins where he meets the hack driver and helps the lawyer to search for Lutkins. The poem is about the tree trying to free themselves from the confines of the campus , courtyard , garden and from in house plantation and making an effort to reach out to the forest. The forest had been empty earlier but with the trees reaching there will make it green so that birds can sing , insects can hide and even seen rays can rest for a while under shade of trees. The poetess says that trees will be shifting in night so that by morning forest is full of trees. The roots of the trees worked hard all night to uprooted themselves . The leaves of the trees strain towards the glass so that they could break it. The poetess say that she sit inside the room ro door of which opens to verenda . She is busy in writing long letter in which she will not mention the departure of forest from the house. She say that naight appears fresh and the whole moon shines in the sky with the smell if leaves and lichen reaches the room just like the voice of people speaking at some distance.
