From my point of view , Anil is a simple andkind hearted man

Sandeep Rathore 5 years, 3 months ago

Hi lol broo

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 3 months ago

Anil was a kind , simple and easy going young man. He was tall and lean stature and interested in sports like Wrestling . He was not very rich and could not offered to employee Hari as a cook.

He had the patience and goodness to not only teach Hari to cook but also to read , write and add numbers. Though he knew that Hari was stealing little bits of money from him , he ignored this fact.

Anil was a writer who wrote for magazines and made money in fits and starts. He was a very trusting person. Even when he earned a large amount of money , he kept the money under his mattress and not under lock and key.

He was generous and paid Hari when he got some money. Hari had tried to steal the money from him. He was forgiving and he forgave Hari - the theft and continued to be good to him.

Direct speech is a sentence in which the exact words spoken are reproduced in speech marks (also known as quotation marks or inverted commas). For example: "You'll never guess what I've just seen!" said Sam, excitedly. "What's that?" asked Louise. General rules for changing direct speech into indirect speech. Omit all inverted commas or quotation marks. End the sentence with a full stop. If the verb inside the inverted commas/quotation marks is in the present tense, change it into the corresponding past tense. Indirect speech is a means of expressing the content of statements, questions or other utterances, without quoting them explicitly as is done in direct speech. For example, He said "I'm coming" is direct speech, whereas He said (that) he was coming is indirect speech.

Sub: Reckless road rage

Sir: I am writing to your esteemed self to express my deep concern over the alarmingly increasing road rage on the roads our city, leading to countless accidents every day.

Gone are the days when people could not afford buying cars, bikes, and SUV's. Now owing to the growth and development of the economy, per capita income of the people has grown manifold. The recent survey on maximum number of car ownership has confirmed the maximum number of cars and bikes in our city. The most worry causing aspect is the parents allowing their minor and immature children to drive high-end vehicles on roads. They do maximum accidents.

Apart from this, the traffic police appear to be lazily indifferent to the problem of road rage. Often the jumping of red lights is condoned. Even after being caught red handed the culprits are not punished because of their political connections. If immediate counter measures are not taken, the city roads will become veritable killer roads. I appeal to the concerned authorities through the medium of your esteemed columns to look into the issue and do the needful.

Yours truly,
xyz

Once upon a time there was an old lady. She lived alone. Her sight began to deteriorate; finally she became blind. Since she was affluent, she hired a doctor. She said to him, ‘If you cure my eyesight, I shall give you a high fee.’ The doctor happily agreed.

He would visit the old lady daily for the treatment procedure. He was of greedy nature. He began coveting the lady’s rare furniture. His covetousness reached so high that he decided to nick the pieces he admired the most. he intentionally delayed the treatment procedures.

After he had taken away enough furniture, he finished treating the old lady’s eyes. The lady’s eyesight was partially recovered. However, she found some pieces of her dear furniture missing. Now the doctor demanded his fee from the lady. Quite contrary to the doctor’s expectation, the lady refused to pay. She said, ‘I won’t pay you unless you treat my eye-sight completely.’

The angry doctor filed a case against her in the court. At the court the judge asked the lady, ‘Why are you not  paying the doctor his fee?’ The lady said, ‘I had promised to pay only on the condition of getting my eye-sight back. I am unable to see all of my furniture!’

The judge understood everything. He gave the verdict in favor of the old lady.

Carbon dioxide is what gives alcoholic beverages such as beer and champagne their characteristic bubbles and is also responsible for rising bread. As yeast begins to metabolize sugars in bread dough, the carbon dioxide gas is trapped within the gluten strands, creating bubbles and causing a leavening action. In beverages, the carbon dioxide is trapped within the liquid by the pressure of the sealed container. When the container is opened, the pressure is released and the carbon dioxide begins to release via a bubble. Alcohol, the other byproduct of yeast fermentation, is also produced during the bread making process but evaporates as the bread bakes. When making alcoholic beverages, yeast is allowed to ferment for a much longer period of time, causing it to produce more alcohol.

The poet is describing Amanda, a little girl who is always pointed out by her mother for her mistakes and how she imagines her life to be. The poet says that the mother is pointing out Amanda for biting nails which is a bad habit. Next she asks her to sit straight without bending her shoulders. Amanda who has habit of bending her shoulders and sitting lazily is being pointed out because her mother wants her to sit in the right posture. At this point of time, when she is being scolded by her mother, she imagines herself to be in a deep green sea. She says that she wants to be the only resident of this beautiful green sea. She imagines herself like a mermaid who is alone there and leads her life in a very relaxing way. She says that she wants to be carried away by the current of water and feel the relaxing environment there.

The Monkey and Two Cats

Once there two cats. They found a piece of bread. They couldn’t agree on how to divide it. They went to a monkey to seek his  help in the matter.  The monkey was clever fellow. He haphazardly divided the piece of bread into two. He told that this division is not correct and ate the smaller piece. He repeated the process of breaking the piece of bread randomly and eating up the smaller piece, till he had eaten up the whole piece of the bread.

Two Stories About Flying

The young seagull had been hungry since last day. He made gestures to be noticed by his parents but nobody cared except his mother. He saw his mother tearing a piece of fish with her beak. He got maddened by the sight of food. Actually, his mother was enticing him. She thought that her son would make an attempt to fly to snatch the food from her mouth. But, contrary to this, the young seagull started begging his mother to bring him some food. His mother took the advantage of the situation. She took a fish and started flying across the sea towards her son. She could see her son screaming with joy. As soon as she reached near him, she stopped and didn't pass on the food to him. Her son stood surprised for a moment but he made the dive unconsciously to have the piece of fish.
The young seagull was so hungry that he could not resist the temptation of the food. His hunger for food compelled the young seagull to finally fly.
