He was so concerned about his job that without choosing quick treatment of surgery he tried to cure Tricky by planning a strict diet. in "a letter to God " irony arises when lencho's crops were destroyed,he was suffering from poverty,he wrote letter to God asking for hundreds pesos so he could sow his field. When postmaster received the letter, he decided to help lencho as he didn't want to break the lencho faith in God,he helped him by giving 70 pesos with the help of office employees.When lencho saw it ,he was not happy,he declared post master and his employee bunch of Crooks. Lencho believe God was extreme that he could not believe in humanity and world created by God.

In the lesson “a Letter to God”, the irony is that Lencho's field is destroyed due to a hailstorm and his family and he have no food for the rest of the year. Because, of his immense faith in God, he writes a letter to God beseeching him that God send him a hundred pesos, so that he can sow his land again.

But suddenly one crow came and sat on the hemlock tree which shookes the branches of the tree having a lot of dust of snow which then falls on the poet making a sudden change in his mood
