The poem ‘Dust of Snow’ by Robert Frost has multiple figures of speech, namely Metaphor, Alliteration, Synecdoche, and Assonance.
- Metaphor is used when the poet compared the falling snow flakes from hemlock tree to dust.
- Alliteration is used in the lines ‘Has given my heart’ and ‘And saved some part’, as same consonants are used repeatedly in those lines.
- Synecdoche is used where the poet said his ‘heart’ undergone a change in mood, which actually represented his entire personality.
- Assonance is used to show repetition of vowels in several lines of this poem, for the sake of rhyme.

Poverty is defined as the family's total income being lower than an income threshold, based on expenditures judged necessary for minimal acceptable amounts of food, housing, and other essentials (Feagin, 1975).
Another important reasons why the rich should help the poor is it helps eradicate poverty to an absolute end. This will help people become economically sound, socially responsible and medically fit. The perfect combination of all three will lead to a clean environment and help control overpopulation.
