Kitty was the name of Anne's diary. It was undoubtedly the most important thing possessed by Anne. Anne is often seen as an insecure girl who, initially, had no one to confide in. She wanted someone to listen to her as evident by the statement ''I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide in anyone, and I hope you will be a source of great comfort and support'' which was added by Anne in the diary.

Anne never really got along with her mother largely due to her immature ways that changed a lot when she moved into the Annexe. She used to resent her sister Margot who was apparently the epitome of good behaviour and the favourite of all. She was often set as an example for Anne. The only person she actually loved was her dad, few months down the lane she started distancing herself from her dad as well.

She got Kitty as a birthday gift and has admitted that it was the best gift of all. Since then she's written everything about how she feels and what she thinks. Who she likes and things that are wrong. She has confessed her love for Peter Van Daan and the lost love of Peter Schiff.

She also has immense knowledge about the war and the politics as shown in the dairy. Her diary proves to be the evidence of the quick sense of humour and satire expressed by Anne. Kitty also has witnessed the change in Anne's thoughts over the years. Anne had developed into a mature being with her own thoughts and judgements.

Kitty has recorded all her fears, happiness, anxieties and hopes. Despite of the isolation, Anne never really felt alone with her diary. It had provided an avenue for Anne to vent her feelings. And thus Kitty has definitely been the most important part of Anne's life.

Diary was Anne's only because she was feeling lonely and she found her diary the only way to share her feelings. All the things that had happened to her she used to wrote in her diary . And hence it became her habbit ,she treated her diary as her friend to whom she could say anything. When they were living in the annex she felt that no one loves her and she became to be confined in herself at that time the diary was the only thing where she could express her thoughts .

Caesar was depicted by some as superstitious and weak. He often sought the advice of a soothsayer and was frightened by predictions. He once almost drowned which proves to Cassius his limitations. He was plagued with a sickness, and Cassius recalled a time when Caesar fell victim to a "fit" in which he was shaking and feverish. Cassius sums up Caesar's behavior as that of "a sick girl." Caesar was also seen by some as arrogant and ambitious. He was boastful in his abilities, such as swimming and conquering, and at times seemed to believe that he was invincible. For example, he ignored the soothsayer when he was warned of the "ides of March." He demonstrated his ambitiousness by declaring himself dictator of Rome. Because of this, Cassius tried to convince Brutus that Caesar was too ambitious. Lastly, some saw Caesar as a good leader concerned for the well-being of Rome. The citizens of Rome were shown cheering for him when he returned in triumph and mourning his death when he was murdered. After Caesar's funeral, the mourning citizens formed a mob which ran through the streets looking to avenge Caesar’s death.

The controversy concerning 'The Frost King' was an agonizing experience in Helen's life. Helen was charged with plagiarism. It was said that Helen had copied the theme of her story from 'Frost Fairies', by Miss Margaret T. Canby. Even Mr. Anagnos, the director of Perkins Institute doubted Helen. Mr Anagnos's behaviour towards Helen was not justified. In spite of initial sympathy with her and believing her side of the situation, he changed his stance. The night before the celebration of Washington's birthday, one of the teachers of Perkins Institute talked to Helen regarding "The Frost King". Helen told her that Miss Sullivan had narrated her the story about Jack Frost and her wonderful works. Something she said made the teacher think she was confessing that she had copied her plot from Miss Canby's story of 'The Frost Fairies'. She conveyed her conclusions to Mr Anagnos who thought he had been deceived by Helen. He also began suspecting Helen and Miss Sullivan had stolen the story.
