Lencho became angry when he counted the money bcz he got only 70 pesos instead of 100 pesos. Since he had blind faith in God, he thought that God would neither deny to give him money nor he would make any mistake in giving him 100 pesos. So he thought that it might hv been the post officers who might hv taken his money. Then he asks God to not send him the money through the post office instead send it to him by some other way bcz the post officers according to him are a "bunch of crooks" .

This story is about a hard working farmer. His name is Lencho. He has firm faith in God. He lives on a low hill with his family. He works hard in his field. He is expecting a good harvest this year. But the fields need some rain. Lencho sees huge clouds in the sky and predicts that it is going to rain. When they were taking their supper(dinner), the rain starts. But all of sudden, the rain changes into a hailstorm. It destroys the entire crop. Lencho gets deeply hurt. But he has a firm faith in God. He writes a letter to God and posts it. He demands 1 hundred pesos. When the posmen gets the letter, he laughs for a while, but the postmaster became serious and decided to help Lencho for his faith in God. He gaves a part or his salary and collected money from his employees. He sends 70 pesos to Lencho. Next Sunday Lencho reaches post office and recieves the letter. After counting money he gets angry. Again he writes a letter to God to send him the remaining amount. But he asks god not to send it through mail because the post office employees are a bunch of crooks(cheaters). ..Such a faith Lencho had in God .

After entering the big London store, Griffin, the invisible man, started looking for some nice clothes to keep himself safe and warm and for other materials to get him in disguise. He felt so warm while trying on some clothes that he overslept till late in the morning. The clothes made him visible to the shop assistants who had come to open the shop the next morning. To escape their sights, he had to shed off all the clothes and become invisible again.

When Mandela and his comrades underwent the grimmiest times in prison, pushed to their limits beyond tolerance, he was still able to see a glimmer of humanity deep within the eyes of one of the white guards, perhaps just for a fraction of a second. But, that he considered was more than enough to keep him going on with his struggles. That was when he realised that man's goodness is something which can be hidden but never extinguished.

Simple present tense

Adithya Dev A 4 years, 7 months ago

Precisely, simple present. Such tenses usually contain only the verb root (eg :- like, laugh, jump, run) accompanied by an 's' based on the nature of subjects (singular or plural).

Yes

Simran Panwar 4 years, 7 months ago

Yes. This is bcz the postmaster was bewildered and inspired to see Lencho's faith in God. He did not want his faith in God to be shaken as a result of which he helped him.

The narrator, pilot of the old Dakota DS-088 airplane, decided to take the risk of flying his airplane through the violent tropical storm which stood strong in front of him. However, on entering the clouds, everything suddenly turned black and there was zero visibility. He started loosing control over his airplane and the airplane jumped and twisted. All the instruments including the radio and the compass had stopped working and there was alarmingly low amounts of fuel in the second and final tank.

Shanvi Sneh 4 years, 7 months ago

As the narrator flew into the storm, everything went black. He couldn't see anything outside the plane windows. ... His plane didn't have much fuel but hefollowed the pilot and came out of the clouds and saw the runway.

As when the rain arise sthere was a hailstorm with the rain which which was for many hour whuch has destroyed his feild

Vanshita Chauhan 4 years, 8 months ago

Rain was changed into hailstroms. Lencho fields were totally destroyed.

Adithya Dev A 4 years, 8 months ago

When Lencho was taking the pleasure of the benevolent rain on his body, a strong wind blew all of sudden and huge hailstones started falling along with the raindrops. The hailstorm continued for an hour, over the hut, over the trees, over the hillside, over the field , all over the entire valley!!!! When the hail stopped, the field was completely destroyed and not a flower remained on the crops.
