A Journey By Air : I have been deeply moved on three occasions in my life. The first was when I stood on The top of a snowy peak in the Niligiris. My first sight of the sea was another occasion which moved me very deeply. But my first flight in the air was the most exciting experience in my life. I took A Journey By Air. I was travelling form Chennai to Maldives by air. I entered the aeroplan in the morning. At first it was no better than getting into a car or bus. The noise of the machine made me feel that it was different. Soon the plan took off and rose in the air higher and higher. The buzzing sound which had fascinated me from ground now belonged to me. The things below looked so tiny. The plane flew very fast rushing through the air without a bump or a jolt when all of a sudden bad weather overtook us. The plane began to swing from side to side and the pilot was a little troubled in controlling it. But I felt happy like a bird swigging in the air. Some of the passengers moved about and felt sick. Some slept in their seats but I sat still with great attentions. I took the greatest pleasure in looking at the scenery of the different places as we passed over. After an hour’s flight we were told that we were passing over Indian Ocean which looked like a meadow from high in the air. It was a lovely sight. The sun was just setting. The ships below looked like toys which float in a tub of water. The blue sea on the right and left was simply enchanting. We had our dinner at our seats and I was introduced to the members of the plane crew. There was the chief pilot who commanded the plane. Then there was a co-pilot, a navigator and three belonging to the plane. One of them was an engineer, another radio expert and the third radioman. There were also pursers and air hostesses to look after the passengers. I do not know when I fell asleep. My father woke me up. It seemed to be a big dash through the air. I was very anxious to get a glimpse of main land. But when we were approaching the landing zone, strong winds overtook us. Fog blinded our views. I was badly disappointed. Our plane finally touched down at the airport from where we drove off to a hotel in the heart of city of Chicago. The whole flight had taken us nearly five hours. It was a very interesting and exciting one indeed.

It is said that Yoga has originated from Hinduism and is being practiced today in the world. People have learned about the qualities of yoga and accepted it as exercise and meditation. Originally yoga is not only a form of exercise, but it is an ancient knowledge of living in a healthy, happy and peaceful way. It helps in attaining inner peace and spiritual knowledge. Humour is infectious. When humor is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness. Humour strengthens our immune system, boosts our energy, diminishes pain and protects us from the damaging effects of stress. It is the priceless medicine for every ailment in life. The poet, in the poem ‘How to Tell Wild Animals’ creates humour by describing various beasts of prey. The way the poet explains the things is very funny yet interesting. The poet has depicted the wildlife very vividly and in a lively manner. While reading the poem, the readers enjoy the poet’s work and it leaves them refreshed and happy.

Humour is the best medicine for all ailments. Humour can make light of any situation. The poet too resorts to humour in the poem "HOW TO TELL WILD ANIMALS". He describes the animals using different words to show their nature. Examples of these humour aspects can be seen in these sentences. The "Bengal Tiger" is 'never noble in his heart'. "The Leopard kills its prey". The bear's hug is never lovable. The hyena never smiles happily.

Lencho did not bother exploring qny other means to reslove his situation because he thought that God is the only person whome he can trust and on whome he has a lot of faith, can help him in this bad situation. In my opinion,i think,Lencho didn't asked any other persons to help him, because he thinks that other than god, everyone are bunch of crooks and they will take his advantage and never help him . That's why he didn't bother exploring any other means to resolve his situation.

Lencho has good faith in God. Lencho's cornfield has been completely destroyed by the storm and hailstones. He thought only of one hope, the help from God. So he decided to write a letter to God asking for 100 pesos in order to resow his field. He placed a stamp on the letter and dropped into the mailbox. One of the employees, who was a postman, went to his boss and showed him the letter to God. He was inspired by the writer's faith in God. In order not to shake the writer's faith in God he decided to answer the letter. He collected money from his employees, he himself gave a part of the salary, and several friends of his were obliged to give something for an act of Charity. But he was able to collect only 70 pieces. He put the money in the envelope and addressed to Lencho.

When Lencho got the letter he did not show any bit of surprise. Instead, he became angry about getting only 70 pesos. He was sure that God could not have made a mistake nor could he have denied Lencho what he had a requested. He wrote another letter to God asking for remaining pesos and asked not to send through the mail because the post office employees are a bunch of crooks. This shows Lencho's faith in God.

Stephen Hawking was regarded as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists in history. His work on the origins and structure of the universe, from the Big Bang to black holes, revolutionized the field, while his best-selling books have appealed to readers who may not have Hawking's scientific background. Hawking died on March 14, 2018.

British cosmologist Stephen William Hawking was born in England on Jan. 8, 1942 — 300 years to the day after the death of the astronomer Galileo Galilei. He attended University College, Oxford, where he studied physics, despite his father's urging to focus on medicine. Hawking went on to Cambridge to research cosmology, the study of the universe as a whole.

In early 1963, just shy of his 21st birthday, Hawking was diagnosed with motor neuron disease, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He was not expected to live more than two years. Completing his doctorate did not appear likely. Yet, Hawking defied the odds, not only attaining his Ph.D. but also forging new roads into the understanding of the universe in the decades since.

As the disease spread, Hawking became less mobile and began using a wheelchair. Talking grew more challenging and, in 1985, an emergency tracheotomy caused his total loss of speech. A speech-generating device constructed at Cambridge, combined with a software program, served as his electronic voice, allowing Hawking to select his words by moving the muscles in his cheek.

Just before his diagnosis, Hawking met Jane Wilde, and the two were married in 1965. The couple had three children before separating. Hawking remarried in 1995 but divorced in 2006.

Hawking continued at Cambridge after his graduation, serving as a research fellow and later as a professional fellow. In 1974, he was inducted into the Royal Society, a worldwide fellowship of scientists. In 1979, he was appointed Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge, the most famous academic chair in the world (the second holder was Sir Isaac Newton, also a member of the Royal Society).

Over the course of his career, Hawking studied the basic laws governing the universe. He proposed that, since the universe boasts a beginning — the Big Bang — it likely will have an ending. Working with fellow cosmologist Roger Penrose, he demonstrated that Albert Einstein's Theory of General Relativity suggests that space and time began at the birth of the universe and ends within black holes, which implies that Einstein's theory and quantum theory must be united.

Using the two theories together, Hawking also determined that black holes are not totally dark but instead emit radiation. He predicted that, following the Big Bang, black holes as tiny as protons were created, governed by both general relativity and quantum mechanics.
