Helen Keller felt that examinations were the chief
bugbears of her college life. Even though she excelled in them after making a
lot of efforts they came back again and again and challenged her courage.

In her opinion exam time was very dreadful. The days
prior to the exams were spent in cramming the information. At such times she wished that the books and science were buried in the depths of the sea. After
working hard and preparing for the exam a person is lucky if he can recollect
the information while writing the exam because most of the time a person tends
to forget what he has learned at the most crucial time

We can say that calpurnia is a devoted wife becoz of the following points......1 she warned her husband caesar not go for senate house.. 2 she had seen a nightmare about caesar ' s death. 3 when carsar was full of his ego she tried to convince him simply way by saying when ordinary men die then no omens are made but when big people die the heavens come and forecast the procedure in our dream . This all shows how calpurnia is devoted for her husband caesar and how she worried about caesar 's wellbeing.☺

Thi drama has many ironies first is its title in which dear denotes to the grandpa which is ironically dear toanyone at all.Secondly He was considered departed or dead but see the irony he is not dead at last. And at the end of the play we see irony playing its part when the dead man comes back alive. His announcement about his desire to change the will also turns out to be ironic . When he says he would leave all his property to the person with whom he was living when he died . Henry consider it to be a lottery for him but the situation turns out that the old man decides to marry to the window of john John shorrocks. As such she would be abel 's legal heir when the latter died

The title of the play the dear deparyed literally means that somebody dear has departed/ died is no more with us . It makes everyone closely connected with the departed person sad and upset. Everyone is at loss and tries to cope with the situation. In this case the title is ironical becoz nobody in family loved grandfather. He was dear to no one. They all are relieved that he is no more. They talk of everything from mourning outfit to what all he has left behind but nobody in hurry to even go and see him. He is supposed to be dead and lying in his room. They all decide to have tea.in no way was he dear to his daughters or their husbands . Mrs jordan had not even visited her father in last three years sincr the time he had moved to mrs slaters home so much for a dear father if she was there today , it was to show off in the society and to ensure that she gets her share of whatever he has left behind. Ironical isn't it.

Brutus was a staunch patriot. He thought that Caesar was a dictator. He was a great friend of Caesar but he joined hands with the conspirators to free Rome from Caesar’s tyranny. He felt that for the welfare, liberty and freedom of Rome, it was necessary that Caesar should be killed.
