The irony lies in the fact that , whilst most may consider gilded or marble monuments to be strong , in reality they are not . After a few years, they wither , deteriorate and eventually turn into ruins . The words of famous men like , like Shakespeare 's poetry , last forever . Even after his death , people still read it and talk about it . Ironically , the poem has outlived both man and monument and will continue to do so.........?

Yes the statement is true ,as the only thing that make the relationship strong is the love and care . If the materialism comes between any relation ,the relation can be broken and the bond of love and intemacy will be vanished.this same happen in the drama ,' the dear departed' as the both sisters after the death of their father were not worried about him but they were tensed about the mourning dress and the article that should be in the newspaper. And they prefer to drink tea rather then to look at their father...and they were trying to snatch his things. After they came to know that he is not dead then after knowing about the mischives thing of their daughters Abel decided to give his all property to the person with him he is going to live his last breath ..then also both sisters were trying to pursuade Abel to stay with her in order to snatch his property..
