Alexander Graham Bell played a very significant role in Helen's life, as a friend, mentor, teacher and many more. When Helen' parents felt the need of a teacher, they consulted him to help them. Bell gave them a sigh of relief by advising them to contact with Mr. Anagnos, the principal of Perkins institute. Thus, he was the person who helped Helen to see the world. Also, Helen found the presence of Bell very relieving. Bell was a perfect teacher and a socialist also. He has done a very great work for disable children.

Anne's diary 'Kitty' played a very important role in her life. She was different from other girls of her age. She always tried to convey herself in front of others, but other people especially her parents were failed to understood. She began to feel loneliness in her life. And at that time, she turned towards diary as her last hope for pleasure. According to her ' Paper has more patience than people'. So she began to write diary. Moreover, writing diary made her know the strong feelings and desires inside her. Also she didn't want to vex other overburdened eleders. During her life in secret annexed , she did not have an companion other that 'Kitty' and later Peter in whom she can confide in. As she gave her diary a name 'Kitty' revealing her Strong relationship with diary.

Anne had wanted to keep a diary because she wanted confide everything in it as she had never been able to confide in anyone. She hoped that the diary,which she named Kitty, would be a great source of comfort to her and the diary did turn out to be a great source of comfort to Anne. She wrote regularly in it,she loved writing in the diary and it provided a sense of comfort to her when she put down her thoughts,experiences and feelings. Anne had kept the diary from June 12,1942 to August 1,1944, initially she used to write for herself.Annes overpowering loneliness makes herrealizethat one could be lonely even when surrounded by the people they loved. She felt distanced from the rest of her family and unable to communicate even though they were supportive and caring. She developed an intense and compelling need for solitary existence which stemmed from the fact that being in company brought on a paradoxical loneliness. This sense of alienation manifested itself because people were too caught up in their own troubles to be responsive towards others. Peter was a departure from that acute loneliness she suffered,his company was conducive to her temperament and they both ended up confiding in each other. Her diary, Kitty, was a like a friend to her, one to whom she could unburden the most intimate thoughts of her heart without being censured.The writings are in the mode of frank and intimate conversations with a dear friend. She told her to do so because oujia board has created a matter of tension between her husband and Lavinia. The oujia board had mentioned that john is a traitor and he had cheated someone. Lavinia considered this as her husband's unfaithfulness towards her. Therefore she became angry and told her maid gladolia to burn the oujia board. Moreover gladolia was afraid of such boards and hoodoos and she wanted to leave the house. So lavinia told her to burn the board and use it for kindling woods.
