Point (d): Democracies are more prosperous than others is not a good argument in favour of democracy. There are examples of democratic countries like Sri Lanka, India which though being democratic are not as prosperous as countries that are either communist or monarchist in nature. For example, democracy exists in India. But the majority of the people are very poor, whereas non-democratic countries like China and Mexico are more prosperous. The prosperity of the country depends on governmental policies, availability of natural resources, and human resources.
