    This is due to the difference from equator, kanniyakumari is quite near to equator hence day and night durations hardly felt there & kashmir is far from equator so the duration of day& night is about just one hour there !!

    A democratic government is a better government because it is more accountable form of government. Democracy is based on consultation and discussion,thus decision making is better . Democracy provides a method to deal with differences and conflicts, so different groups can live with one another peacefully Democracy enhances the dignity of citizens. Finally democracy allows us to correct our own mistakes. Either the rulers have to change their decisions or the rulers can be changed.

    Subsistence crises is an extreme situation where basic means of livelihood are endangered. The increase in population in France led to a rapid increase in the demand for food grains. Production of grains could not keep pace with the demand. So price of bread which was the staple diet of majority rose rapidly. Wages did not keep pace with rise in prices.Things became worse whenever drought or hail reduced the harvest.This led to subsistence crisis in France.
