The French revolution of 1789:

1.Convocation of Estates General.Members of the third estate demanded voting to be conducted by the assembly as a whole where each member would have one vote.

2.The representatives of the third estate viewed themselves as spokesman of the whole French nation and declared themselves as National Assembly.

3.The National Assembly was busy at Versailles drafting a constitution ,the rest of France seethed with turmoil.The agitated crowd stormed and destroyed the Bastille.

4.Peasants revolted in the countryside.
