The political conditions leading to the outbreak of revolution in france were:- Economic cause :- The nobles and kings of france were leading a prosper life and misusing the wealth. The people of 2nd estate and 1st estate had not to paid taxes but the people of 3rd estate had to paid taxes. The industrial revolution brought unemployment in france. France gave financial help to America by which his treasury was founded empty. Subsistence crisis :- The population of france increased from 23 million in 1715 to 28 million in 1789.Foodgrains were in a great demand. The prices of bread were increasing rapidly.Labourers in factories were underpaid.This led to subsistence crisis. Strong Middle Class :- A new middle class emerged during the 19th century which was a wealthier social group. They were educated and believed that no group in this society should be given certain previleges by birth. Contribution of philosophers :- Rousseau strikes upon the divine power of the king. Voltaire resented upon the spreading corruption and spreading religious hypocrisy in the church. Immediate cause:- To call the meeting of the estates general and to proclaim the making new constitution become a bugle of this revolution.
