While thr French revolution, the society was divided into three estates:- 1. First estate that included clergy (the persons assumed with some special work in churches). 2. Second estates that included nobility, members of royal family etc. 3. Third estate included all the rest members of society like big merchants, traders,businessman,shopkeepers, lawyers,professionals, artisans, peasants along with the passive citizens like women, men under 25 years etc. Hope it helped 👍😀
