Distillation is a widely used method for separating the component substances from a liquid mixture by selective evaporation and condensation. To separate a mixture of liquids, the liquid can be heated to force components, which have different boiling points, into the gaseous state.
In industrial chemistry, distillation is a unit operation of practically universal importance, but it is a physical separation process and not a chemical reaction. Distillation is used for many commercial processes, such as the production of gasoline, distilled water, xylene, alcohol, paraffin, kerosene, and many other liquids.

Universal Law of gravitation was formulated by Sir Issac Newton.
It states that
Every body in universe attracts every other body with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them. The force acts along the line joining the two bodies

According to the Newton’s 2nd Law of motion, the rate of change of linear momentum of a body is directly proportional to the applied external force and in the direction of force.
It means that the linear momentum will change faster when a bigger force is applied.
Consider a body of mass ‘m’ moving with velocity v.
The linear momentum of a body is given by: p = mv
Now According to Newton’s 2nd Law of Motion:
Force is directly proportional to rate of change of momnetum, that is
F α dp/dt
F = k dp/dt
F = k d(mv)/dt
F = k md(v)/dt
F = k ma
Experimentally k =1
F = ma
Which is the required equation of force.

Cryptogamae: This sub-kingdom includes plants which do not flower in their life time.
- Plant body is not well differentiated into stem, leaves etc.
- Reproductive organs are hidden.
- These are less evolved plants.
- These plants do not bear seeds.
- These can reproduce through spores.
- Cryptogams are further divided into three groups: Thallophyta, Bryophyta and Pteridophyta.
Phanerogamae: This sub-kingdom includes plants which flower to perform sexual reproduction.
- Plant body possess well-formed stem, leaves and roots.
- These are highly evolved plants.
- These plants produce seeds.
- Seeds germinate into new plants.
- Phanerogams are further classified into Gymnosperms and Angiosperms.

Photosynthesis is an autotrophic mode of nutrition exhibited by most of the green plants and some bacteria. Photosynthesis is the physico-chemical process by which plants can convert light energy into chemical energy, in the form of food using atmospheric carbon dioxide and water as raw materials.
CO2 + H2O → C6H12O6 + O2
Carbon dioxide + Water → Glucose + Oxygen
