It states that rate of change in momentum is equals to the applied force ..................as we know that force is equals to F=M×a.........(1)(here accelaratiin is defined as a=v-u/t) so putting the value of a in the equ. 1 we have .........F=M(v-u)/t or (Mv-Mu)/t here Mv and Mu are the final and initial momentum of the body so now we have F=(Pf-Pi)/t ....wow this is the newtons second law in mathematical form derived by the definition of force

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 6 months ago

Let mass of an moving object = m

Let the velocity of the object changes from 'u' ; to 'v' in the interval of time 't'

This means, Initial velocity of the object = u.
Final velocity of the object = v
We know that momentum (p) = Mass x velocity
Therefore,
Momentum (p) of the object at its initial velocity u = m × u = mu
Momentum (p) of the object at its final velocity v = m × v  = mv
The change in momentum = mv − mu
Rate of change of momentum = (mv−mu)/ t

Beating of a carpet with a stick; makes the carpet come in motion suddenly, while dust particles trapped within the carpet, however, have the tendency to remain in rest, and in order to maintain the position of rest they come out of the carpet. This happens because of the application of Newton’s First Law of Motion which states that any object remains in its state unless any external force is applied over it.

The final velocity (v) of a moving object with uniform acceleration (a) after time, t.

Let, the initial velocity = u.
Final velocity = v.
Time = t
Acceleration = a
We know that, Acceleration (a) =Change in velocity/Time taken
⇒a = (Final velocity-Initial velocity)/Time taken
⇒ a = (v − u)/t
⇒ at = v − u
⇒ at − v = −u
⇒ −v = −u − at
⇒ v = u + at    ---(i)
This equation is known as first equation of motion.

Mitochondria has the double layer around it the inner surface of Mitochondria have deep in folds called cristae. It is a site of cellular respiration. It is called SEMI AUTONOMUS CELL because it has its own ribosomes and DNA ( DEOXYRIBONUCLEIC ACID) It is also called powerhouse of cell because the cristae has oxysomes on its body which trap the oxyzen and breaks the stored glucose which produces energy in form of ATP (ADENOSINE TRIPHOSPATE)

When speed of object decreases with time then then it is called retardation

Anshika Prakash 7 years, 6 months ago

When the initial velocity is more than the final velocity, the acceleration gets a negative sign. This is also called retardation.

Deekshant Singhal 7 years, 6 months ago

Retardation is the acceleration in opposite direction. Car when applies brakes we say it is retarding

Harsh Tiwari 7 years, 6 months ago

Retardation is actually acceleration with the negative sign .

Meristematic tissues: 1. These tissues have the capacity to divide. 2. They have thin cellulose wall. 3. They do not have intercellular spaces. 4. They contain dense cytoplasm with prominent nucleus. 5. They contain many small vacuoles in their cytoplasm. 6. They produce permanent tissues. 7. They are responsible for the primary and secondary growth of the plants. Permanent tissues: 1. These tissues have lost the capacity of division. 2. They have thick cellulose wall. 3. They have large intercellular spaces. 4. They contain thin cytoplasm with normal nucleus. 5. They contain a single large vacuole in their cytoplasm. 6. They are produced by meristemic tissues. 7. These tissues add to the various growths.
