    Naphthalene is a volatile solid organic compound which can undergo sublimation. The solid naphthalene balls keep subliming slowly and after a certain time, the naphthalene balls sublime completely forming naphthalene vapors and hence they disappear without leaving any solid residue

    An astronaut can't swim in space because there is no air to push against such that he will move forward. But if he throws a heavy object with a large force in the opposite direction in space, an equal and opposite force will act on him (Newton's 3rd Law of Motion) and he'll move in the other direction, towards the spaceship.
