E. P=mgh Where, E. P=potential energy m=mass of the object g=accelaration due to gravity h=height of the object

Gaurav Seth 7 years, 2 months ago

The mass formula is given as

Where,

ρ = density and

v = the volume

The weight mass formula is given as

m = w / g

Where,

= weight,

= mass,

= gravity

The mass formula is also given as

m = F / a

If acceleration itself is the gravity, then

M = F / g

Where,

= force

G = gravity

The well known Einstein’s mass-energy relation that provides mass energy formula as

m = E / c2

Where,

= energy,

= mass,

= speed of light

The kinetic energy mass formula is given as

K.E = ½ mv2

Where,

= mass,

= velocity.

Positive work is said to be done when the force acting on a body produces a displacement in the direction of the force.

Negative work is said to be done when the force acting on a body produces a displacement opposite to the direction of the force.

Mole is the measurement in chemistry. It is used to express the amount of a chemical substance.
One mole is defined as the amount of substance of a system which contains as many entities like, atoms, molecules and ions as there are atoms in 12 grams of carbon - 12".
Avogadro number:
The number of the particles present in one mole of any substance = 6.022x1023. This is called avogadro’s number or Avogadro’s constant.
No. Of particles in 1 mole:
1 mole of hydrogen atoms represents 6.022 × 1023 hydrogen atoms.
1 mole of hydrogen molecules represents 6.022 × 1023 hydrogen molecules.
1 mole of water molecules represents 6.022 × 1023 water molecules.

Thomson’s atomic model:   J.J. Thomson was the first to put forward a model to explain the structure of an atom. Thomson's atomic model is also called water melon model or Christmas pudding model. He compared the electrons with the raisins in the Spherical Christmas pudding and to seeds in a watermelon.
Postulates of Thomson’s Model:

  • An atom consists of a positively charged sphere, with electrons set within the sphere.
  • An atom is electrically neutral as the positive and negative charges within it are equal.

Aanchal Jaiswal 7 years, 2 months ago

Thomson model of atom:- in this model of atom negative particles are embedded in positive sphere this model is also called water meal on structure of atom.
