Dalton’s theory is the basic theory about the nature of matter. According to his theory, all matter, whether a solid, liquid or gas or an element, compound or mixture, is composed of small particles called atoms.
The Postulates of Dalton's Atomic Theory:
- All matter is made up of very tiny particles called atoms.
- Atoms are indivisible particles, which can neither be created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction.
- The atoms of a given element are identical in mass and chemical properties.
- Atoms of different elements have different masses and chemical properties.
- Atoms combine in the ratio of small whole numbers to form compounds.
- The relative number and types of atoms are constant in a given compound.

Membrane biogenesis is the process which involves the synthesis of cell membrane with the help of proteins and lipids. Endoplasmic reticulum is responsible for the synthesis of these membranes.
Membranes synthesised by this process of membrane biogenesis help in dividing the cell into structural and functional compartments. Membranes of the cell altogether are called as endomembrane system. The endomembrane system includes different membranes suspended in the cytoplasm and the plasma membrane.

Molar mass of glucose, C6H12O6 = 6×12+12×1+16×6 = 180g
Given Mass of the glucose, C6H12O6 = 100g
As we know that, Number of moles = mass of an element/molar mass of an element
Hence Number of moles glucose, C6H12O6 = 100g/180g = 0.55 moles.

1.Unsaturated compounds are oxidized by alkaline potassium permanganate with the disappearance of its pink colour therefore when cooking oil and saturated compound is treated with a few drops of Alkaline KMnO4 solution the pink colour of KMnO4 disappears . However with butter which contain saturated compound the pink colour of KMnO4 does not disappear.
2. We can also distinguish chemically between a cooking oil and a butter by the bromine water test.
Cooking oil decolourises bromine water showing that it is an unsaturated compound.
Butter does not decolourises bromine water showing that it is a saturated compound.

2)Public cleanliness is important for individual health(If no agency is ensuring that garbage is collected and disposed,if no one takes responsibility of clearing the drains,if there are heap of garbage and thrash littered here and there,if there is open drain water lying stagnant around, the possibility of poor health increases)
3)We need food for health and food will have to earn by doing work. For this, opportunity to do work has to be available.Good economic condition and jobs are therefore needed for individual health.
4)We need to be happy in order to be truly healthy. If we mistreat each other and are afraid of each other,we cannot be healthy or happy.Social equality and harmony are important for individual health.

Since no frction work no gravity work is acting on the body of mass 2 kg,
The K.E energy is only due to the work upon mass due to force 10 N.
Therefore,
K.E. = F x Displacement {From Work Energy Theorem}
= 10 J.

Molecular mass of the molecule: The sum of the atomic masses of all the atoms in a molecule of a substance is called the molecular mass of the molecule.
Molecular mass - calculation: Generally we use relative atomic masses of atoms for calculating the molecular mass of 1 mole of any molecular or ionic substances.
Example: Molecular mass of H2SO4
Atomic mass of Hydrogen = 1
Atomic mass of sulphur = 32
Atomic mass of oxygen = 16
Molecular mass of H2SO4 = 2(Atomic mass of Hydrogen) + 1 (Atomic mass of sulphur) + 4 (Atomic mass of oxygen)
= 2×1 + 32 + 4× 16 = 98 u.
