Because flash travel faster than thunder

Sudha Ramesh 5 years, 9 months ago

This due to the reason that light travels more faster than sound and it reaches us much sooner than sound so, even if lightning and thunder happen at the same time we receive light first

Rakhi Vasodiya11 5 years, 9 months ago

This is because the speed of light is much more than the speed of sound

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 9 months ago

Flash and thunder are produced are produced simultaneously, but the flash is seen first and then the sound is heard. This is because the speed of sound in air is very less than the speed of light in air.
Speed of sound in air : 334ms⁻¹
Speed of light in air : 3X10⁸ms⁻¹

With the increase in Density of the medium, the speed of sound also increases.

Anshul Pokhriyal 5 years, 9 months ago

Speed of light is more than of sound . Light speed is 300000km per sec i,e, why thunder is heard later

Mass

Weight

Mass can never be zero. Weight can be zero. As in space if no gravity acts upon an object, its weight becomes zero.
Mass is a scalar quantity. It has magnitude. Weight is a vector quantity. It has magnitude and is directed toward the center of the Earth or other gravity well.
Mass is commonly measured in kilograms and grams. Weight is commonly measured in Newtons.
Mass doesn’t change according to location. Weight varies according to location.
The mass may be measured using an ordinary balance. Weight is measured using a spring balance.

Nisha Setia 5 years, 9 months ago

1) Mass is a scaler quantity 1) Weight is a vector quantity 2) The value of mass is always constant. 2) Weight can be varing. 3) The S.I unit of mass is kg. 3) The S.I unit of weight is Newton

A congenital disorder is an abnormality of structure or function in a person, which is present from birth. The congenital disorder may be clinically obvious at birth, or may only be diagnosed sometime later in life. For example, a neural tube defect is a structural defect which is obvious at birth while haemophilia, which is also present at birth, is a functional defect that may only become obvious and be diagnosed when the child is older. Congenital disorders often present as an abnormal appearance or failure to grow and develop normally.

Molar mass: The molar mass is the mass of one mole (or 6.023 X 1023) particles of that substance. The molar mass of an element is equal to the numerical value of the atomic mass. However, in case of molar mass, the units change from ‘u’ to ‘g’. The molar mass of an atom is also known as gram atomic mass.
For example mass of 6.023 X 1023 atoms of sodium or molar mass of sodium is 23g, but its atomic mass is 23u

Calculation of molar mass: The molar mass of oxygen is equal to mass of one mole of oxygen. Oxygen forms a divalent molecule, so this is the mass of one mole of O2.

Atomic weight of oxygen atom = 16g

Molar mass of oxygen = 2 x 16.00 g = 32.00 g

The definite temperature at which a solid starts melting is called melting point . Example- melting point of ice is 0 degree Celsius.

Tejas Maurya 5 years, 9 months ago

Melting point is a process in which solid change into liquid . For example ice change into water

Rajesh Dangi 5 years, 9 months ago

The temperature at which a solid melts to become a liquid at the atmospheric pressure is called its melting point.

Faizan Ahmad Official 5 years, 9 months ago

The constant temperature in any substance will is knownn as melting point

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 9 months ago

Melting point

The constant temperature at which a solid becomes liquid upon absorbing heat under normal pressure is called as the melting point of that solid. [Pressure of 760 mm of Hg]

Melting point (Solid state → Liquid state)

SONAR (originally an acronym for SOund Navigation And Ranging) is a technique that uses sound propagation (usually underwater, as in submarine navigation) to navigate, communicate with or detect objects on or under the surface of the water, such as other vessels.

In this method, to find the depth of an ocean, a strong ultrasonic wave is sent from the ship towards the bottom of the ocean. This ultrasonic wave is received back after it is reflected from the bottom of the sea. The time interval t for travel of sound waves from the source to the receiver after reflection is noted. The distance travelled by the ultrasound ray is given by the equation:  2d = vt, where v is the velocity of sound. From this the depth d can be calculated.
